ประกาศผลผู้ชนะการประกวดถ่ายภาพครั้งสำคัญประจำปีของ L’Officiel Thailand

Luxuo Thailand มีความยินดีที่ได้ร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการจัดการประกวดถ่ายภาพ Thailand Photography Contest 2020 ซึ่งมีนิตยสาร L’Officiel Thailand และ L’Officiel Hommes Thailand เป็นหัวเรือใหญ่ ร่วมกับ YellowKorner ซึ่งเป็นเครือข่ายแกลเลอรีภาพถ่ายชื่อดังระดับโลก ในอดีตนั้น L’Officiel เคยจัดการประกวดในลักษณะนี้มาแล้วในปี ค.ศ. 2012 ก่อนที่จะกลับมาอีกครั้งในปีที่ผ่านมา โดยเปิดรับผลงานจากช่างภาพสมัครเล่นหรืออาชีพที่มีอายุ 18 ปีขึ้นไปและมีความสามารถในการถ่ายภาพหลายรูปแบบ
จากผลงานที่ส่งเข้ามาทั้งหมดนั้นมีผู้เข้ารอบแรก 30 ท่านซึ่งจะต้องถ่ายภาพตามโจทย์ที่คณะกรรมการกำหนดเพื่อคัดเลือกให้เหลือ 12 ท่านในรอบที่สองและเหลือเพียง 3 ท่านในรอบสุดท้าย ท่านแรกคือคุณพบพฤฒ วงศ์ภักดี อายุ 24 ปีซึ่งสำเร็จการศึกษาในสาขามัณฑนศิลป์ (ประยุกต์ศิลป์) จากมหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร และมีประสบการณ์ด้านการถ่ายภาพประมาณ 5 ปี
คุณพบพฤตมีความใฝ่ฝันที่จะได้ไปทำงานในระดับนานาชาติเพื่อแสดงศักยภาพของคนไทยให้โลกได้เห็น แนวการถ่ายภาพที่เขาถนัดที่สุดคือแนวแฟชั่นบิวตี้ และในการประกวดครั้งนี้อุปสรรคที่หนักหน่วงที่สุดที่คุณพบพฤตประสบก็คือเรื่องของเวลาและสถานการณ์โควิดที่ทำให้ต้องเปลี่ยนแปลงบุคลากรในทีมงาน สตูดิโอ ฯลฯ และตัวคุณพบพฤตเองยังได้คิวฉีดวัคซีนเพียงหนึ่งวันก่อนที่จะต้องถ่ายรูปเซ็ทสุดท้ายสำหรับรอบชิงอีกด้วย
ท่านที่สองคือคุณฌัฐศิษฏ์ บุญรัศมี อายุ 31 ปีและมีประสบการณ์ถ่ายภาพ 7 ปี คุณฌัฐศิษฏ์สำเร็จการศึกษาในสาขาสถาปัตยกรรมจากมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นก่อนที่จะไปศึกษาต่อที่ École des Beaux-Arts de Nantes Saint-Nazaire ประเทศฝรั่งเศส
งานภาพแนวอินทีเรียและสถาปัตยกรรมของคุณฌัฐศิษฏ์อยู่ในขั้นที่โดดเด่นและสะดุดตามาก นั่นย่อมเป็นเพราะว่าเป็นแนวที่เขาถนัดและอยากจะเป็นผู้เชี่ยวชาญเฉพาะทางอยู่แล้ว สิ่งที่คุณฌัฐศิษฏ์รู้สึกว่ายากที่สุดคงจะเป็นการถ่ายภาพแฟชั่นเพราะไม่ใช่ความถนัดของตน แต่เขาก็ทำผลงานได้ดีในรอบชิงชนะเลิศ
และผู้ชนะการประกวดในปีนี้ก็คือคุณนรินท์ เหล่ารุจิรากุล อายุ 38 ปี ซึ่งจบการศึกษาด้านวิศวกรรมเคมีและมีกิจการของครอบครัวแต่เลือกมาเดินสายถ่ายภาพเมื่อประมาณ 9 ปีก่อน
ที่ถือเป็นเรื่องบังเอิญเป็นพิเศษก็คือว่าคุณนรินท์เคยเห็นการจัด Thailand Photography Contest ครั้งแรกของ L’Officiel เมื่อปี ค.ศ. 2012 ด้วย และนั่นเป็นการจุดประกายให้เขาสนใจในงานทางด้านนี้จนไปขอฝึกงานกับช่างภาพต่างๆ ก่อนที่จะถ่ายเองเป็นอาชีพ คุณนรินท์คิดว่าด้วยอายุของตนแล้วนี่อาจจะเป็นการประกวดครั้งสุดท้ายก็ได้จึงอยากจะไปให้ได้ไกลที่สุด
ฝันของคุณนรินท์ได้กลายเป็นจริงแล้วเพราะหนึ่งในรางวัลของการประกวดครั้งนี้คือการได้เป็นช่างภาพช่างภาพประจำนิตยสาร L’Officiel Thailand และ L’Officiel Hommes Thailand ดังนั้น Luxuo Thailand จึงขอแสดงความยินดีกับคุณนรินท์และขอให้ผู้เข้าร่วมการประกวดทุกท่านประสบความสำเร็จในเส้นทางของตนเองต่อไปครับ

Luxuo Thailand is pleased to take part in the Thailand Photography Contest 2020 – a major event staged by L’Officiel Thailand and L’Officiel Hommes Thailand in collaboration with global photography gallery YellowKorner. Previously organized in 2012, the contest returned last year, and was open to well-rounded amateur and professional photographers aged 18 and above.
After making it through the screening round, 30 contestants were given one challenge after another until there were 12 contestants in the next round and, eventually, three contestants in the final round. Pobprut Wongpuckdee was the first finalist. The 24-year-old applied arts graduate from Silpakorn University came with about five years of photograph experience. His dream is to work at an international level so as to demonstrate the potentials of Thai people to the world, particularly through his most prominent photography genre: beauty. During this contest, Pobprut had to go through a rough patch because of the incidents surrounding the pandemic situation which necessitated changes of personnel, studio, etc. His vaccination appointment also fell on the day just before the final shoot.
The second finalist, Nattasit Bunratsamee, finished his architecture study at Khon Kaen University before joining École des Beaux-Arts de Nantes Saint-Nazaire in France. With seven years of photography experience, the 31-year-old exhibited highly impressive skills where interior and architecture photography is concerned, most likely because it is his forte and he wants to become a specialist in this area. As it turned out, Nattasit found fashion photography to be the most difficult element in this contest because it was outside of his comfort zone – he did very well in the final round nevertheless.
Narin Lourujirakul won the contest this year. At the age of 38, Narin first ventured into this world of photography nine years ago, despite having been formally trained as a chemical engineer and having managed a family business. Coincidentally, what inspired him in the first place was the 2012 edition of Thailand Photography Contest by L’Officiel. Narin went on to have on the job training with several photographers before setting out on his own. He believed that, given his age, this could well be his last contest so he wanted to make it count.
His dream came through now that he is announced as the winner with one of the prizes being a full-time job with L’Officiel Thailand and L’Officiel Hommes Thailand. We congratulate him on this beautiful success and we wish all other contestants the best in their future career.
