A Palm Beach Gardens mansion has been listed for sale at $30 million, a price tag that makes it the most expensive listing in the city.
Called “Palazzo Grande,” the 16,000-square-foot stone mansion has six bedrooms, six bathrooms and two half baths on about 1 acre in the Steeplechase gated community, according to the WSJ.
The sale will include several custom fixtures, including 40 chandeliers and a large stone fireplace that contains a statuette of Jesus and an icon of the Virgin Mary.
The home also has a 34-foot-tall great room with a coffered ceiling and a grand staircase framed by two cherubs. An upstairs ballroom with a mirrored ceiling can comfortably fit 75 people. Wood floors bear the same pattern as those found in the Palace of Versailles.
The property includes a 1,120-square-foot pool which features blue Polaris marble and four carved stone lion fountains, in addition to a spa and Parthenon-style pool house. There’s also a clay tennis court.
