The new Classic Fusion Ferrari GT watches represent a new chapter between the two prestigious houses

Ever since 2011, we have seen a constant offering of watches collaboratively designed by Hublot and Ferrari to the delight of individuals who take pleasure in mechanical timepieces and the thrill of speed. The most recent addition to the line-up is the Hublot Classic Fusion Ferrari GT: a watch conceived as an embodiment of “driving over long distances at high speed in comfort and with style” in the same fashion as GT or Gran Turismo vehicles.
The Hublot Classic Fusion Ferrari GT is an aesthetic interpretation of the designers at the Centro Stile Ferraro in Maranello, Italy, which is the very home of Ferrari’s GT cars. The 45 mm Classic Fusion style case is produced in titanium (1,000 units), proprietary King Gold (500 units) and the innovative 3D carbon (500 units). All versions are equipped with a special rubber strap that is cladded with the same Schedoni leather as used on historical Ferrari race car seats.
Meanwhile, Hublot makes decisions with regard to the movement that powers the watch. For the new collaboration watch, the brand has determined it fit to use, for the first time in the Classic Fusion collection, the in-house UNICO HUB1280 movement. This automatic flyback chronograph caliber comes with a power reserve of 3 days. Its column wheel actuator is visible on the dial, giving the watch owner a heightened sense of power as the chronograph is manipulated. Together with the prancing horse logo at 12 o’clock, the watch has everything it needs to claim lineage to both its Swiss and Italian roots, which happen to be equally strong.
