You must have come across watches whose dial is crafted from stones or gemstones every once in a while. Yet, the sight of a jade dial remains quite uncommon. Meet the Streamliner Tourbillon Wyoming Jade from H. Moser & Cie. (whose name is deliberately omitted from the dial per their minimalistic trait). The inclusion of “Wyoming” in its nomenclature signifies the provenance of the jade utilized. In order to produce these dials, CNC technology is used to delicately carve the jade into slender sheets, ranging from 1-1.2 mm in thickness. These sheets are checked against light to determine the best positioning on a metal plate that will serve as the foundation of the dial, then meticulously polished to ensure a flawless sheen devoid of any imperfections. The Streamliner Tourbillon Wyoming Jade is limited to 100 pieces only in red gold.
