This extraordinary work is the result of the creative forces of the team from Wieki Somers and chocolatier Rafael Mutter. Shown as part of an exhibition at the Vitra design museum, ‘Chocolate Mill’ showcases amazing design and execution skills from both collaborators. Starting with a large cylindrical block of chocolate made out of 10 layers of patterned chocolate, it rotates under a crank-turned blade that shaves off layers, revealing the various patterns in the chocolate.
