มาดสปอร์ตของ Greubel Forsey กับ Balancier S2 ตัวเรือนไทเทเนียม

ดูเหมือนว่ากระแสความนิยมนาฬิกาสปอร์ตระดับไฮเอ็นด์จะเป็นตัวกระตุ้นให้ Greubel Forsey จริงจังกับการสร้างผลงานในเซ็กเมนท์นี้ยิ่งขึ้นกว่าเดิม ผลงานล่าสุดของแบรนด์นี้มีชื่อว่า Balancier S2 และเป็นการต่อยอดจากความสำเร็จของ Balancier S รุ่นดั้งเดิมเมื่อ 2 ปีที่แล้ว
Balancier S2 ใช้เครื่องนาฬิการุ่นเดียวกับ Balancier S รุ่นแรก แต่ที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไปคือตัวเรือนและรายละเอียดในการออกแบบ ตัวเรือนทรงโค้งมนของนาฬิการุ่นใหม่นี้ผลิตจากไทเทเนียม ขนาดเส้นผ่าศูนย์กลางใหญ่ขึ้นเล็กน้อยเป็น 46.5 มม. ขอบตัวเรือนที่ดูมีหลายรูปทรงในหนึ่งเดียวและแซฟไฟร์คริสตอลทรงโค้งช่วยเน้นให้หน้าปัดดูมีมิติอย่างชัดเจนที่สุด ไม่ว่าจะเป็นในโซนหลักซึ่งมีเข็มบอกเวลากับชุดเกียร์เทรน หรือในโซนตัดเฉียงที่มีบาลานซ์วีลแบบติดตั้งเอียง 30 องศาตามดีไซน์ที่ไม่เหมือนใครของ Greubel Forsey
Greubel Forsey จะผลิตนาฬิกา Balancier S2 รุ่นหน้าปัดสีเทาชาร์โคลปีละ 22 เรือนจากปี ค.ศ. 2022-2025 รวมเป็น 88 เรือน และรุ่นหน้าปัดสีเทาอ่อนจำนวนปีละ 16 เรือนในช่วงเวลาเดียวกันรวมเป็น 64 เรือน ทั้ง 2 เวอร์ชั่นมาพร้อมกับสายไทเทเนียมแบบข้อ 3 แถวซึ่งมีระบบปรับความยาวโดยละเอียดในตัวหรือสายยางที่มาพร้อมกับบานพับไทเทเนียม ทั้งนี้ก็เพื่อตอกย้ำว่า Balancier S2 นี้เป็นนาฬิกาสำหรับชีวิตประจำวันจริงๆ ไม่ใช่นาฬิกาที่ซื้อมาแล้วเก็บสวยๆ ในตู้เซฟแต่อย่างใด

It seems that the mood within the industry is right for Greubel Forsey to push even harder in the high-end sports watch segment. Their latest watch, the Balancier S2, builds on the success of the original Balancier S from two years ago.
The Balancier S2 takes the movement from its predecessor and gives it a new case and new design codes. Voluptuously streamlined, the new case is crafted from titanium, and is slightly larger at a diameter of 46.5 mm. Its variable geometry bezel and curved sapphire crystal accentuate the dimensionality of the dial with the time-telling hands and the exposed gear train on the main section, and the 30° inclined Greubel Forsey balance wheel system on the slanted section.
Greubel Forsey plans to produce 88 units of the new Balancier S2 with a charcoal grey dial (22 pieces per year from 2022 to 2025) and 64 units with a light grey dial (16 pieces over the same period). Both versions are worn on either a 3-row titanium bracelet with an integrated fine adjustment mechanism or a textured rubber strap with titanium folding clasp. This reinforces the fact that the Balancier S2 is meant for active wear in daily life, not to be put away as a safe queen.
