Chronospace Evo B60

The Chronospace Evo, which had already distinguished itself from the other models in Breitling’s Professional range with its pointer-type displays, has now gotten a makeover on the inside. The Chronospace Evo B60 is the latest offering from Breitling, and it boasts an analog-display quartz movement entirely designed and produced by the Swiss watch specialist.

The SuperQuartz chronograph caliber is now being branded as the “100% Breitling engine”, and for good reason. The SuperQuartz is 10 times more precise than a standard quartz movement, making it a must-have instrument for professionals.

The features of Breitling’s new electronic watch have been designed with these very people in mind as well, from the 24-hour counter dedicated to day-long missions, to the easily readable central minutes and split times displays, which come with white- and red-tipped hands respectively. As a bonus, pressing the pushpiece at 4 o’clock allows the wearer to stop the chronograph to measure split times — be it for keeping track of race timings or mission successes.

The Chronospace Evo B60 comes with two dial versions: one is volcano black with slate gray counters, while the other is mariner blue with black counters. The displays on both are enhanced by large white luminescent hands and hour-markers that stand out against the dark dial backgrounds. The Breitling model also offers a choice between a titanium bracelet or a more handy strap in leather rubber.
