Seiko เปิดตัวนาฬิกาดำน้ำ Prospex PADI Special Edition สองรุ่นใหม่สำหรับปีนี้

แน่นอนว่า Seiko ซึ่งผลิตนาฬิกาดำน้ำมาตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ. 1965 จะต้องเป็นที่ชื่นชอบของนักดำน้ำระดับอาชีพ และนั่นก็นำไปสู่การออกนาฬิกา Seiko รุ่น PADI ต่างๆ ภายใต้ความร่วมมือระหว่างกันตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ. 2016 เอกลักษณ์อยู่ที่การใช้สีน้ำเงินและสีแดงซึ่งเป็นสีโลโก้ของ PADI
PADI หรือ Professional Association of Diving Instructors เป็นสมาคมครูผู้ฝึกสอนดำน้ำจากแคลิฟอร์เนียที่มีเครือข่ายครอบคลุมและมีสมาชิกมากที่สุดในโลก หน้าที่หลักของ PADI คือ การฝึกสอน ทดสอบและออกใบอนุญาตให้กับนักดำน้ำในระดับต่างๆ ตลอดไปจนการฝึกสอนดำน้ำในรูปแบบเฉพาะที่มีความซับซ้อนยิ่งขึ้นไป
ที่ผ่านมา Seiko ผลิตนาฬิกาดำน้ำรุ่นพิเศษสำหรับ PADI มาแล้วราว 11 รุ่น โดยใช้ตัวเรือนรูปทรงต่างๆ และเครื่องนาฬิการุ่นต่างๆ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นแบบจักรกล คิเนติกหรือโซลาร์ และในปีนี้ Seiko ก็เปิดตัวนาฬิกา Prospex PADI Special Edition รุ่นใหม่ล่าสุด 2 รุ่นพร้อมกัน รุ่นแรกเป็นนาฬิกาแบบสามเข็มในดีไซน์ Sumo รหัสรุ่น SPB181J1 ตัวเรือนสเตนเลสสตีลขนาด 45 มม. กระจกเป็นแบบแซฟไฟร์คริสตอล ขอบตัวเรือนหมุนได้ทิศทางเดียวมีวงแหวนสีแดงและน้ำเงินตามแบบของ PADI ทำงานด้วยเครื่องรุ่น 6R35 ซึ่งเป็นเครื่องออโต้หรือขึ้นลานอัตโนมัติแบบไขลานช่วยได้เมื่อต้องการ ความเที่ยงตรงอยู่ในเกณฑ์ +25/-15 วินาทีต่อวันและกำลังลานสำรอง 70 ชั่วโมง ราคา 29,100 บาท
รุ่นที่สองเป็นนาฬิกาโครโนกราฟในดีไซน์ Sumo Chronograph รหัสรุ่น SSC795J1 ตัวเรือนสเตนเลสสตีลขนาด 44.5 มม. กระจกเป็นแบบแซฟไฟร์คริสตอล ขอบตัวเรือนหมุนได้ทิศทางเดียวมีวงแหวนสีแดงและน้ำเงินตามแบบของ PADI ทำงานด้วยเครื่องรุ่น V192 ซึ่งเป็นเครื่องควอตซ์ระบบพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ ความเที่ยงตรงอยู่ในเกณฑ์ +/- 15 วินาทีต่อเดือน สำรองพลังงานได้ประมาณ 6 เดือน ซึ่งน่าจะเหมาะเป็นพิเศษสำหรับใครที่ใส่นาฬิกาสลับกันหลายเรือนและไม่ต้องการยุ่งยากกับการตั้งเวลาใหม่ ราคา 24,500 บาท

Seiko started to produce dive watches in 1965. Being one of the pioneers in this field, it is without a surprise that their products are trusted by professional divers around the world. In the modern days, this led to the introduction of special edition watches, designed in collaboration with PADI since 2016, with distinctive blue and red rotating bezel – PADI’s logo colours.
PADI or Professional Association of Diving Instructors from California is the largest organisation of its kind with the widest reaching network and the greatest number of members. The main mission of PADI is to train, test and issue licenses for divers of all. They also provide trainings for the more specialised and technical forms of diving.
Seiko has produced around 11 PADI special edition models in the past, using various case designs and a full range of movement choices from mechanical to kinetic and solar. This year, two new Prospex PADI Special Editions are launched simultaneously. The first one, the three-hand Sumo Ref. SPB181J1, features a 45 mm stainless steel case, sapphire crystal, unidirectional rotating bezel with the signature blue and red insert. It is powered by the Calibre 6R35. The self-winding movement features 70-hour power reserve, can be hand-wound when needed, and is accurate to within +25/-15 seconds per day. The price is 29,100 baht.
The Sumo Chronograph SSC795J1 is the other half of the duo. With a 44.5 mm stainless steel case, sapphire crystal and the signature blue and red PADI insert on the unidirectional rotating bezel, the timepiece features the solar-powered quartz V192 movement which is accurate to +/- 15 seconds per month. Its power reserve of approximately six months should be found very useful for those who like to switch between watches but do not want to be inconvenienced by time setting. The price is 24,500 baht.
Both watch models feature Lumibrite coating on the hands, the hour markers and the top position dot of the rotating bezel. They are water resistant to 200 metres, thanks to the use of screw-down caseback and crown, and worn on a stainless steel bracelet with a 3-fold clasp. The PADI logo is .
