เยือน Seiko Museum Ginza พิพิธภัณฑ์แห่งใหม่ใจกลางย่านช้อปปิ้งที่รอคอยคนรัก Seiko ทุกคน

Seiko Museum Ginza คือชื่อของพิพิธภัณฑ์ Seiko แห่งใหม่ที่เปิดให้บริการตั้งแต่ปี 2020 เป็นต้นมา ทำเลที่ตั้งเดินทางไปสะดวกกว่าที่เก่ามากเพราะว่าอยู่ใจกลางย่านกินซ่าของโตเกียวเลย ที่สำคัญ การตกแต่งภายในพิพิธภัณฑ์ก็ดูทันสมัยและมีการคุมโทนให้เหมาะกับเรื่องราวที่บอกเล่าในแต่ละชั้นของอาคาร อย่างเช่นชั้น 2 ซึ่งเป็นเรื่องราวยุคก่อตั้งบริษัท การฟื้นตัวหลังประสบภัยแผ่นดินไหวคันโตเมื่อปี ค.ศ. 1923 การก้าวเข้าสู่ยุคของนาฬิกาข้อมือ หรือเมื่อขึ้นไปบนชั้น 3 ก็จะปรับแสงให้ดูมืดลงเล็กน้อยเพื่อนำเสนอวิธีการบอกเวลาของคนในยุคอดีตกาลทั้งทางฝั่งญี่ปุ่น เอเชียโดยรวมและโลกตะวันตก
สิ่งจัดแสดงต่างๆ ภายในพิพิธภัณฑ์แห่งนี้ล้วนแล้วแต่สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงคติพจน์ “always one step ahead of the rest” ของ Seiko ตั้งแต่ยุคอดีตเรื่อยมาจนถึงปัจจุบัน อะไรที่เป็นเรือนแรกต่างๆ ก็ถูกรวบรวมมาไว้ที่นี่ หรืออย่างเครื่องนาฬิกาที่เคยส่งประกวดความเที่ยงตรงระดับโครโนมิเตอร์ที่สวิตเซอร์แลนด์ในยุคทศวรรษที่ 60 อยู่ที่นี่พร้อมใบประกาศ หรือจะเป็นนาฬิการุ่นเด่นในแต่ละยุคสมัยอย่างเช่น Kinetic Chronograph ซึ่งเป็นลิมิเต็ดเอดิชั่นจำนวน 1,000 เรือนจากปี 1999 เอาเป็นว่าเราโชว์แค่พอเป็นพิธีเท่านี้ เพื่อให้คุณได้ไปค้นพบด้วยตนเองนะครับ
Seiko Museum Ginza เปิดให้เข้าชมฟรีทุกวันยกเว้นวันจันทร์และวันหยุดปีใหม่ ผู้สนใจจะต้องลงทะเบียนล่วงหน้าผ่านทางเว็บไซท์ของมิวเซียมและเลือกว่าจะเข้าชมรอบเวลาใด ได้แก่ 10.30-12.30 น. หรือ 13.00-15.00 น. หรือ 15.30-17.30 น. ทั้งนี้ก็เพื่อจำกัดจำนวนคนที่เข้าชมในแต่ละรอบให้อยู่ในระดับที่เหมาะสม ใครช้อปปิ้งมาเอาถุงใส่ตู้ล็อคเกอร์แบบหยอดเหรียญก่อนได้ ใครมีสมาชิกในครอบครัวที่ต้องใช้วีลแชร์ก็ไม่ต้องกังวลเพราะว่ามีลิฟท์บริการขึ้นลงทุกชั้น รายละเอียดเพิ่มเติมที่เว็บไซท์ museum.seiko.co.jp รู้อย่างนี้แล้วไปโตเกียวคราวหน้าห้ามพลาดเลยนะครับ

Seiko Museum Ginza is the name of the brand’s new museum which has been in operation since 2020. Compared to the previous museum, the new one is much more centrally located in the shopping district, and it does a better job at presenting the stories with each floor of the building being dedicated to a specific theme. For example, the 2nd floor is dedicated to the history of the company, how it survived the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923, and how it progressed into the wristwatch market. On the 3rd floor, the ambiance is dimmed slightly to set the mood for the topic of how people in ancient eras told time in Japan, in the wider Asia, and, in the western world.
Representing milestones over the decades, the exhibits chosen for this museum reaffirm Seiko’s guiding philosophy of being “always one step ahead of the rest”. Apart from their first timepieces in different categories, you will find here the Seiko movements that won the chronometer contest in Switzerland and the accompanying certificate. Another notable watch is the striking and instantly recognizable Kinetic Chronograph from 1999 – a limited edition of 1,000 pieces. We are not going to reveal more because you need to come and discover them for yourself.
Seiko Museum Ginza is open daily except on Mondays and new year holidays. In order to make a visit, you need to make a registration in advance on the museum’s web site and choose one of the three timeslots: 10:30-12:30, 13:00-15:00 or 15:30-17:30, to keep the number of visitors within an appropriate level.
