ปัจจุบันสถาบันฝึกอบรมของ Patek Philippe มีอยู่ด้วยกัน 4 แห่งทั่วโลก ได้แก่ สิงคโปร์ เซี่ยงไฮ้ นิวยอร์กและเจนีวา โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งสถาบันฝึกอบรมช่างที่สิงคโปร์นั้นมีความมุ่งมั่นในการฝึกอบรมช่างนาฬิกาเพื่อตอบสนองต่อความต้องการของลูกค้าที่เพิ่มขึ้นทั้งในสิงคโปร์ ประเทศไทย และในภูมิภาคนี้ และช่วยเพิ่มศักยภาพในการดูแลลูกค้าของศูนย์บริการ Patek Philippe ได้เป็นอย่างดี โดยการฝึกอบรมนั้นมีด้วยกันถึง 7 ระดับ ซึ่งช่างที่จะสามารถเข้าทำงานกับ Patek Philippe ในตำแหน่งช่างนาฬิกานั้นต้องผ่านการอบรมที่อย่างน้อยระดับ 2 ซึ่งคือ ความรู้พื้นฐานของเครื่องไขลาน เครื่องแบบขึ้นลานอัตโนมัติ และเครื่องควอตซ์ซึ่งมีระบบวันที่ทั่วไป
ศูนย์บริการ Patek Philippe ในประเทศไทยนั้นเปิดให้บริการมาตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ. 1994 และเมื่อปี ค.ศ. 2021 ได้ย้ายมาอยู่ที่ชั้น 9 อาคารเกษรทาวเวอร์ โดยมีพื้นที่อยู่ที่ประมาณ 893 ตารางเมตร ซึ่งศูนย์บริการแห่งนี้มีความพร้อมที่จะให้บริการลูกค้าด้วยช่างนาฬิกาที่มีประสบการณ์และได้ผ่านการฝึกอบรมมาจากทางศูนย์ฝึกอบรมของทางแบรนด์ และยังครอบคลุมไปถึงการขัดแต่งนาฬิกาด้วยเครื่องมือที่ทันสมัยโดยช่างที่มีประสบการณ์ด้วยเช่นกัน
จากข้อมูลที่เราได้รับมาจากศูนย์บริการที่กรุงเทพแห่งนี้ทำให้เราได้รับรู้ว่า การให้บริการซ่อมบำรุงนาฬิกา 1 เรือนมีขั้นตอนสำคัญต่างๆ มากกว่า 30 ขั้นตอน ระยะเวลาตั้งแต่ต้นจนจบกระบวนการต้องใช้เวลาอย่างน้อย 200 ชั่วโมง ซึ่งรวมถึงการทดสอบระบบต่างๆ ก่อนส่งมอบนาฬิกาให้กับลูกค้า และในทุกๆ ปี มีนาฬิกามากกว่า 6,000 เรือนที่เข้ารับการบริการที่ศูนย์บริการแห่งนี้ตามประเภทของการบริการที่แตกต่างกันไป และมี 2,000 เรือน หรือประมาณ 30% ที่เข้ารับการเซอร์วิสแบบเต็มรูปแบบ

Thanks to a long-running communication campaign, watch lovers around the world can memorise one tagline very well: “You never actually own a Patek Philippe. You merely look after it for the next generation.” This, however, will not amount to much if those precious timepieces from Geneva languish untouched in safes, bereft of the care and attention they deserve from their owners, and devoid of the periodic maintenance that must be rendered by skilled watchmakers.
To help you look after your watches for the next generation, Patek Philippe operates full-fledged service centres that are staffed by internally trained watchmakers and specialists. The brand’s training institutes play a pivotal role in advancing and nurturing the watchmaking craft, passing down the brand’s philosophy and expertise to ensure its ability to provide necessary services. This means that a Patek Philippe watch can be serviced today, no matter how old it may be.
Presently, there are four Patek Philippe training institutes worldwide, situated in Singapore, Shanghai, New York and Geneva. Particularly noteworthy is the institute in Singapore, committed to training watchmakers to meet the increasing demands of customers in Singapore, Thailand and other countries within this region. This training institute contributes greatly to the enhancement of customer service in Southeast Asia. Their comprehensive training program spans seven levels. In order to work for Patek Philippe, a watchmaker needs to attain at least Level 2, which covers the basics of hand-winding movements, self-winding movements and quartz movements with a date.
As for Thailand, the Patek Philippe Bangkok Service Centre was first established in 1994 and relocated to the 9th floor of Gaysorn Tower in 2021. Measuring 893 square metres, this state-of-the-art facility is staffed by experienced watchmakers who had completed Patek Philippe’s very own training programs, as well as by talented polishers with the skills and the equipment necessary to handle your Patek Philippe watches with care.
We learned from our visit to the Patek Philippe Bangkok Service Centre that a complete service entails over 30 meticulous steps and requires at least 200 hours per watch. This is inclusive of the efforts made to test the various functions of a watch before handing it back to a client. Annually, more than 6,000 watches undergo servicing here, with around 2,000 or roughly 30% being sent in for a complete overhaul.
Professional maintenance and testing of water resistance and other functions at recommended intervals will not only keep your watches accurate but also prolong their service life. After all, these are heirloom pieces you are going to hand down to the next generation of the family.
