Few watch models are so quickly identifiable even with a quick or partial view. The Constellation Manhattan design of Omega is among such privileged timepieces, having been introduced in 1982 with the four claws to the left and the right of the case.
That iconic design has received a few updates over the decades. The most recent one involved a rework of the edges to give the case a slimmer, more feminine profile. The bezel is thinner as well to enlarge the dial. All Roman numerals on the bezel of models without diamonds are upright, whereas numbers 4 through 8 used to be inverted. There are as many as 101 models across the three sizes in the collection. While the 25 and 28 mm sizes contain a quartz movement behind the Constellation medallion solid case back, the 29 mm is powered by either the self-winding Calibre 8700 or 8071, visible through the sapphire crystal caseback. The collection is available in stainless steel, bi-colour and all-gold, and with a variety of dial colour choices to correspond with the preference of all discerning buyers.
