Audemars Piguet ปรับโฉม Royal Oak Offshore ใหม่ด้วยรายละเอียดที่แยบยล

Royal Oak Offshore เป็นคอลเลคชั่นที่เปิดตัวเป็นครั้งแรกเมื่อปี ค.ศ. 1993 และกลายเป็นที่ชื่นชอบของคนรักนาฬิกาแนวสปอร์ตลักชัวรีทั่วโลกอย่างรวดเร็วด้วยตัวเรือนที่มีขนาดใหญ่เป็นพิเศษ แต่ก็ไม่ขาดซึ่งรายละเอียดแห่งความพิถีพิถันตามแบบฉบับของ Royal Oak หรือ Audemars Piguet
ดีไซน์ Royal Oak Offshore ที่เราเห็นกันอยู่นั้นก็มีอายุเกือบ 20 ปีแล้วจึงนำไปสู่การรีเฟรชครั้งใหญ่ในปีนี้ด้วยตัวเรือนใหม่ขนาด 43 มม. ที่ได้รับการปรับแต่งให้ดูดีและใส่สบายยิ่งขึ้นอีก อาทิ เหลี่ยมตัวเรือนขัดเงาที่มีขนาดกว้างขึ้น แซฟไฟร์คริสตอลที่มีรูปทรงโค้งจากด้าน 6 นาฬิกาขึ้นไป 12 นาฬิกา และปุ่มกดจับเวลาเซรามิกที่มีรูปทรงยาวล้อไปตามแนวความโค้งของตัวเรือนสเตนเลสสตีล ไทเทเนียมหรือพิงค์โกลด์เพื่อความต่อเนื่องของเส้นสาย
ในจำนวน 5 รุ่นใหม่ที่เปิดตัวในปีนี้จะมี 4 รุ่นที่มาพร้อมกับขอบตัวเรือนเซรามิกที่มีสีดูตัดกับวัสดุตัวเรือน ยกเว้นเพียงรุ่นเดียวคือรุ่นหน้าปัดสีน้ำเงินที่มีขอบตัวเรือนเป็นไทเทเนียม พื้นหน้าปัดของทุกรุ่นมีลวดลายเมกาตาปิสเซอรีดีไซน์ใหม่ที่ไม่เพียงเพิ่มความคมคายให้กับปิรามิดทั้งหลายแต่ยังเติมแนวสันเป็นกากบาทเชื่อมต่อระหว่างปิรามิดด้วยอีก ตราสัญลักษณ์ AP ที่ตำแหน่ง 12 นาฬิกาผลิตจากทอง และใช้เป็นโลโก้เดียวบนหน้าปัดเลยโดยไม่มีการพิมพ์ชื่อเต็มของแบรนด์กำกับข้างใต้ และวงทดเวลาของระบบโครโนกราฟนั้นนอกจากจะมีสีที่แตกต่างจากพื้นหน้าปัดแล้วยังถูกจัดเรียงใหม่เพื่อความชัดเจนสูงสุด โดยมีวงทดนาทีอยู่ที่ตำแหน่ง 9 นาฬิกาและวงทดชั่วโมงที่ตำแหน่ง 3 นาฬิกา
เครื่องของ Royal Oak Offshore ใหม่เป็นเครื่องโครโนกราฟแบบฟลายแบ็ครุ่นคาลิเบอร์ 4401 ซึ่งเป็นแบบขึ้นลานอัตโนมัติและมีกำลังลานสำรอง 70 ชั่วโมง ควบคุมการทำงานของระบบจับเวลาด้วยกลไกคอลัมน์วีลและชุดเวอร์ติคอลคลัทช์ โรเตอร์สีดำผลิตจากพิงค์โกลด์ มองเห็นได้ผ่านทางฝาหลังแซฟไฟร์คริสตอล และความสะดวกอีกขั้นหนึ่งของนาฬิการุ่นนี้อยู่ที่ระบบการเปลี่ยนสายด้วยตนเองโดยไม่ต้องใช้เครื่องมือ เพียงกดที่ปุ่มทั้งสองทางด้านหลังของเขี้ยวบนขาตัวเรือน คุณก็จะสามารถปลดสายเดิมออกแล้วติดตั้งสายใหม่ที่เป็นสีอื่นหรือวัสดุอื่นเพื่อให้ตรงกับอารมณ์และการแต่งกายในวันนั้นได้อย่างง่ายดาย

Ever since the Royal Oak Offshore was born in 1993, this family of watches has captured the dreams and imaginations of watch collectors around the world. The watch is big, bold, yet sophisticated and representative of what a Royal Oak or an Audemars Piguet should embody. The collection has not had a major redesign since the early 2000s though. So, for 2021, the manufacture is giving the Royal Oak Offshore a long overdue refresh.
Measuring 43 mm in diameter, the new Royal Oak Offshore case, which comes in either stainless steel, titanium or pink gold, features enhanced aesthetics and ergonomics. Some of the details are not so apparent like the larger polished chamfers on the edges of the case or the curvature of the sapphire crystal from 6 to 12 o’clock. However, other elements stand out, such as the elongated ceramic chronograph buttons that follow the curvature of the case for smoother visual continuation.
Four of the five new models sport a ceramic bezel for a powerful contrast – the only exception being the titanium version with a blue dial. The familiar Méga Tapisserie pattern is subtly redesigned with sharpened pyramids and a raised criss-cross pattern connecting them together. The AP initials at the 12 o’clock position is made of gold and used here without the long-form signature. The chronograph counters, all in a contrasting colour to the dial, are repositioned for improved legibility with the minute counter and the hour counter at 9 and 3 o’clock, respectively.
Mechanically, the new Royal Oak Offshore is a flyback chronograph. Its self-winding Calibre 4401 with a 70-hour power reserve is designed with a column wheel, a vertical clutch system and a blackened pink gold rotor that is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback. The range features the manufacture’s new interchangeable strap system whose double-push mechanism on the back of the case studs allows the owners to quickly release the strap and securely attach a new one in another colour or material to suit the day’s mood and attire.
