Jaeger-LeCoultre บอกเล่าประวัติศาสตร์แห่งความเที่ยงตรงด้วย Duometre คอลเลคชั่นใหม่ในปีนี้

Jaeger-LeCoultre ก้าวเข้าสู่ปี ค.ศ. 2024 ด้วยธีมที่มีชื่อว่า Precision Maker เพื่อบอกเล่าถึงเกียรติประวัติแห่งการเป็นผู้บุกเบิกด้านความเที่ยงตรงแห่งหุบเขาวัลเลเดอชูซ์ของประเทศสวิตเซอร์แลนด์ นับตั้งแต่ที่มีการผลิตชิ้นส่วนนาฬิกาที่มีขนาดเล็กเป็นอย่างมากตั้งแต่ยุคศตวรรษที่ 19 หรือในยุคปัจจุบันก็มีการนำเสนอคอนเซปท์การออกแบบเครื่องนาฬิกาที่สามารถมอบความเที่ยงตรงในระดับที่เหนือชั้นได้ชื่อ Duometre เมื่อปี ค.ศ. 2007 โดยนาฬิกาในคอลเลคชั่นนี้จะมีแบเรลและเกียร์เทรนชุดที่หนึ่งส่งกำลังไปให้กับระบบบอกเวลา ในขณะที่แบเรลและเกียร์เทรนชุดที่สองนั้นจะส่งกำลังให้กับคอมพลิเคชั่นอื่นใดที่มีโดยเฉพาะ ทั้งนี้ก็เพื่อให้ทุกระบบได้รับพลังงานอย่างเต็มที่และสม่ำสมอที่สุด
Duometre Heliotourbillon Perpetual คือนาฬิการุ่นท็อปในการอัพเดทคอลเลคชั่น Duometre ใหม่หมดในปีนี้ ชื่อ Heliotourbillon หมายถึงกลไกตูร์บิยองแบบ 3 แกนที่ตำแหน่ง 9 นาฬิกาที่ได้รับการออกแบบมาเพื่อช่วยลดความคลาดเคลื่อนที่เกิดจากแรงโน้มถ่วงของโลกให้ได้มากที่สุด ไม่ว่านาฬิกาจะอยู่ในมุมใดก็ตาม กลไกตูร์บิยองนี้ประกอบด้วยกรงไทเทเนียม 3 ชั้นที่วางเป็นมุมเฉียงกันไปมา สองกรงแรกหมุนครบหนึ่งรอบตัวเองในเวลา 30 วินาทีและกรงที่สามหมุนครบหนึ่งรอบตัวเองในเวลา 60 วินาที บนหน้าปัดสีเงินโอปอลีนมีการแสดงค่าเวลาและค่าอื่นๆ ของระบบเพอร์เพทชวลคาเลนดาร์อย่างชัดเจน
ความพิเศษทั้งหมดนี้ได้รับการบรรจุไว้ในตัวเรือน Duometre ทรงใหม่ของปี ค.ศ. 2024 ซึ่งมีความกลมกลึงและเรียบเรียนกว่าเดิม ราวกับว่าเป็นนาฬิกาพกทรงซาโวแน็ตจากยุคศตวรรษที่ 19 ที่ถูกนำมาปรับเปลี่ยนให้กลายเป็นนาฬิกข้อมือ เมื่อวางเทียบกับ Duometre เจเนอเรชั่นที่แล้วจะเห็นได้ชัดเจนว่ารุ่นใหม่นั้นมีแซฟไฟร์คริสตอลที่โค้งกว่ามากและจรดกับขอบตัวเรือนที่เอียงขึ้นมารับอย่างพอดิบพอดี
เรือนเวลาอันน่าทึ่งนี้มาในตัวเรือนพิงค์โกลด์ขนาด 44 มม. ซึ่งมีการขัดงาสลับกับขัดด้านและพ่นทรายอย่างแยบยลได้เพราะว่าประกอบด้วยชิ้นส่วนหลายชิ้น และจะผลิตเป็นจำนวนจำกัดเพียง 20 เรือนเท่านั้น เราเองไม่อาจเป็นหนึ่งในผู้โชคดีได้ แต่เรามีไฟล์รูปสวยๆ ระดับความละเอียดสูงอยู่ ดังนั้นไม่แน่วันหนึ่งเราอาจจะเอาไปพิมพ์เป็นภาพขนาดใหญ่แขวนผนังที่ออฟฟิศเราก็แล้วกัน

Jaeger-LeCoultre enters 2024 with the Precision Maker theme, referring to their illustrious history as a pioneer from the Vallée de Joux of Switzerland with the heritage of having already perfected the smallest watch components in the 19th century. In more recent history, Jaeger-LeCoultre has presented the ingenious Duometre concept in 2007 to achieve an even higher level of precision. On a Duometre watch, the first barrel and gear train provide power to the time indication, while another set of barrel and gear train is dedicated to any additional complication, thereby ensuring maximum power delivery to all.
The Duometre Heliotourbillon Perpetual leads the charge as Jaeger-LeCoultre completely revamped the collection this year. Heliotourbillon refers to the exceptional tourbillon at the 9 o’clock position which rotates on three axes to counter the effects of gravity, regardless of the watch’s position. Three titanium cages are set at contradicting angles, with the first two completing a full rotation in 30 seconds while the third one does so in 60 seconds. The silver opaline dial shows the time and perpetual calendar indications in the most legible fashion possible.
All of the above technical sophistication is carefully packaged inside the new Duometre case that is completely redesigned for the 2024 collection. The idea is to give the case a smoother, more rounded appearance and touch, as if the savonette pocket watch of the 19th century is reimagined as a wristwatch. Compared to the previous generation Duometre, the new one is quickly distinguished by the sapphire crystal which is now convex and adjoined to the polished, brushed and micro-blasted multi-part case by an elegantly rounded bezel. Everything is just voluptuously sweet.
Only 20 pieces of this 44 mm horological marvel will ever be produced in pink gold. We will not be one of the lucky few, but at least we have the high-resolution image to print for our office wall, should we fancy that!
