Greubel Forsey เป็นนาฬิกาที่ตระการตาเสมอทั้งในแง่ของกลไกและการออกแบบ เหมือนเช่น Double Tourbillon 30° Technique รุ่นนี้ที่เพียงมองแต่ไกลก็รู้แล้วว่าเป็นผลงานจากแบรนด์นาฬิกาชั้นสูงแห่งเมืองลาโชเดอฟ็องส์อย่างแน่นอน

Greubel Forsey watches are born to impress, mechanically and aesthetically. The Double Tourbillon 30° Technique is yet another example of how timepieces from this La Chaux-de-Fonds manufacture is immediately recognisable, from near and afar.
Right away, the case declares its red gold presence of 47.5 mm in diameter and 16.84 mm in thickness. The size is necessary to accommodate the complex structure of the movement which we will now examine closely. First, we have the double tourbillon at the six o’clock position. The first (the larger) carriage rotates horizontally, completing one revolution in four minutes. The second (the smaller) carriage is fixed at an incline of 30 degrees for increased resistance against gravity, and operates at the speed of one revolution per minute. You can read the second either from the sapphire windrose that turns with the horizontal tourbillon carriage, or from the dedicated small second display at nine o’clock.
Elsewhere on the watch, superimposed quadruple barrels with the brand’s name in relief at the 11 o’clock position provide a combined power reserve of 120 hours. The remaining amount is indicated by way of a red hand at the three o’clock position. Two gold hands at the centre of the dial are open worked to echo the sense of openness from the transparent sapphire crystal ring on which the hour markers are inscribed.
And as if there are not enough details to look at, the designers at Greubel Forsey have come up with two plates, affixed to the left and right sides of the case. They bear a relief engraving of text in French that summarises the brand’s core watchmaking philosophy. Things generally do not get any more elaborate than this.
