หากใครติดตามข่าวนาฬิกาใหม่ของ Grand Seiko อยู่จะเห็นเลยว่าช่วงครึ่งปีแรกนี้เขามีผลิตภัณฑ์ที่น่าสนใจออกมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง เริ่มตั้งแต่ที่มีการจัดงาน Grand Seiko & Seiko Online Summit 2021 เมื่อเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ และในวันนี้ก็ยังมีนาฬิกาตัวเรือนแพลทตินัมรุ่นพิเศษตามออกมาอีกหนึ่งรุ่น เราจึงขอถือโอกาสนี้ทำการบ้านแทนทุกท่านด้วยการรวบรวมภาพและราคามาไว้ในโพสท์เดียวครับ
Grand Seiko Heritage Collection (SLGH005)
นาฬิการุ่นนี้มีชื่อเล่น “ไวท์เบิร์ช” เพราะพื้นผิวหน้าปัดทำเป็นลวดลายของลำต้นชิรากาบะซึ่งเป็นไม้ที่พบได้ในป่าทางตอนเหนือของประเทศญี่ปุ่น บริเวณรอบๆ โรงงานผลิตนาฬิกาจักรกล Grand Seiko ไวท์เบิร์ชเป็นนาฬิกาเพียงรุ่นที่สามเท่านั้นของ Grand Seiko ที่ได้ใช้เครื่องรุ่น 9SA5 โดยเป็นนาฬิกาสเตนเลสสตีลรุ่นที่สองที่ได้ใช้เครื่องดังกล่าว และเป็นนาฬิกาเครื่อง 9SA5 รุ่นแรกที่ไม่ได้เป็นลิมิเต็ดเอดิชั่น ตัวเรือนขนาด 40 มม. ดูเผินๆ ก็เหมือน Grand Seiko ทั่วไป แต่ที่จริงแล้วเป็นตัวเรือนดีไซน์ใหม่ รายละเอียดที่แตกต่างจากรุ่นอื่นๆ อย่างเห็นได้ชัดเจนที่สุดน่าจะเป็นขาตัวเรือนที่ชวนมองจริงๆ เพราะดูเพรียวด้วยทั้งรูปทรง เหลี่ยมมุมและการขัดแต่งแบบด้านสลับเงาประสานกัน (321,000 บาท)
Grand Seiko Heritage Collection (SLGH007)
SLGH007 มีหน้าปัดที่ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากธรรมชาติในละแวกใกล้เคียงกันกับ Shizukuishi Studio แหล่งกำเนิดของนาฬิกาจักรกล Grand Seiko เช่นกัน และเป็นหน้าปัดลายไม้เหมือนกันด้วย หากแต่เป็นลายวงปีด้านในของเนื้อไม้ซีดาร์ที่แต่ละวงนั้นบ่งบอกถึงอายุของไม้ต้นนั้น เราสามารถเห็นลวดลายดังกล่าวบนพื้นหน้าปัดสีดำนี้ได้อย่างชัดเจนที่สุดก็เมื่อเอียงนาฬิกาเข้ารับแสงตามมุมต่างๆ นาฬิการุ่นนี้ทำงานด้วยเครื่องรุ่น 9SA5 เช่นกันแต่เป็นลิมิเต็ดเอดิชั่นจำนวน 140 เรือนเพื่อฉลองครบรอบ 140 ปีของการก่อตั้งบริษัท Seiko แต่ที่แตกต่างจาก SLGH005 อย่างแน่นอนก็คือวัสดุที่ใช้ในการผลิตตัวเรือนขนาด 40 มม. นี้ซึ่งเป็นแพลทตินัมครับ (1,986,000 บาท)
Grand Seiko Elegance Collection (SBGJ251 / SBGJ249 / SBGE271 / SBGE269)
ด้วยความที่ชนชาติญี่ปุ่นมีความละเอียดอ่อนในทุกเรื่องที่เกี่ยวกับธรรมชาติ ฤดูกาลทั้งสี่ในแต่ละปีของเขาจึงมีการแบ่งเป็นช่วงย่อยๆ ได้อีกฤดูกาลละ 6 ช่วงรวมเป็น 24 ช่วงในหนึ่งปี ในปี ค.ศ. 2021 นี้ Grand Seiko จึงผลิตนาฬิกาจีเอ็มทีตัวเรือนสเตนเลสสตีลที่มีหน้าปัดดีไซน์พิเศษจำนวน 4 รุ่นเพื่อเป็นตัวแทนของฤดูกาลต่างๆ ได้แก่ Shunbun (SBGJ251) ตัวแทนฤดูใบไม้ผลิและ Shoshot (SBGJ249) ตัวแทนฤดูร้อนซึ่งใช้เครื่อง Hi-Beat 36000 GMT รุ่น 9S86 ในตัวเรือนขนาด 39.5 มม. (250,100 บาท) ซึ่งพร้อมจำหน่ายในเมืองไทยแล้วเวลานี้ และที่จะตามมาในเดือนกันยายนก็คือ Kanro (SBGE271) ตัวแทนฤดูใบไม้ร่วงและ Toji (SBGE269) ตัวแทนฤดูหนาวซึ่งใช้เครื่อง Spring Drive GMT รุ่น 9R66 รุ่น 9S86 ในตัวเรือนขนาด 40.2 มม. (223,000 บาท)
Grand Seiko Masterpiece Collection (SBGZ007)
สำหรับรุ่นล่าสุดที่เพิ่งเปิดตัวในวันนี้วันที่ 23 มิถุนายนก็คือ SBGZ007 ซึ่งเป็นลิมิเต็ดเอดิชั่นตัวเรือนแพลทตินัมจำนวน 50 เรือน จุดขายของนาฬิการุ่นนี้คือหน้าปัดสีน้ำเงินพิเศษที่มีเกล็ดโลหะดั่งดวงดาวบนฟากฟ้าเหนือหมู่บ้านอาจิในเขตชินชู โดย Grand Seiko เล่าให้เราฟังว่าหน้าปัดนี้เกิดขึ้นได้ด้วยกระบวนการผลิตที่คิดค้นขึ้นเป็นพิเศษที่ประกอบด้วยการปั๊มลาย การเคลือบผิวและการลงสี ตัวเรือนแพลทตินัมขนาด 38.5 มม. ของนาฬิการุ่นนี้บางเพียง 9.8 มม. และนอกจากจะมีการขัดเงาแบบซารัตสึแล้วยังมีการใช้เครื่องมือแกะสลักเป็นลวดลายแบบกระจายรอบทิศทางเพื่อเสริมรับกับหน้าปัดลายท้องฟ้ายามค่ำคืนอีกด้วย ผลงานของ Micro Artist Studio แห่ง Grand Seiko นี้ทำงานด้วยเครื่องไขลาน Spring Drive รุ่น 9R02 ซึ่งมีกำลังลานสำรอง 84 ชั่วโมง (2,703,200 บาท)

It has been a very busy half year for Grand Seiko with a handful of models introduced at Grand Seiko & Seiko Online Summit 2021 back in February. Today, another model in platinum, no less, joins the range. Let us give you a recap of these novelties for your shopping convenience.
Grand Seiko Heritage Collection (SLGH005)
Dubbed the white birch after its highly characteristic dial, this watch is a serious contender for that empty spot in your watch box. It is the third Grand Seiko watch to receive the brand new 9SA5 self-winding movement that debuted last year for the 60th anniversary of the brand, the second stainless steel model to be powered by that calibre, and the first 9SA5 watch that is not a limited edition. The 40 mm case is typical Grand Seiko from the appearance, but there are subtle reworks here and there. Those multi-faceted lugs with alternating surface finishes are a true joy to behold. (321,000 baht)
Grand Seiko Heritage Collection (SLGH007)
The SLGH007 is similar to the SLGH005 in the sense that its dial is inspired by the natural beauty nearby the Shizukuishi Studio where mechanical Grand Seiko watches are made. Its black dial has a pattern mimicking that of cedar tree rings that represent each year of its growth. The depth of this dial can be fully appreciated only once it is touched by light from different angles. Powered by the Calibre 9SA5, this limited edition of 140 pieces marks the 140th anniversary of the Seiko company. Oh, yes, we forgot to mention that the 40 mm case is made of platinum! Grand Seiko Elegance Collection (SBGJ251 / SBGJ249 / SBGE271 / SBGE269)
The Japanese culture is known for its intricate link to the nature – their four seasons comprise six phases each. For 2021, Grand Seiko chose to honour four of these 24 phases with an especially designed GMT watch in stainless steel. Readily available are 39.5 mm Shunbun (SBGJ251) for spring and 39.5 mm Shoshot (SBGJ249) for summer, both powered by the Hi-Beat 36000 GMT Calibre 9S86 (250,100 baht each). To follow in September are 40.2 mm Kanro (SBGE271) for autumn and 40.2 mm Toji (SBGE269) for winter with Spring Drive GMT Calibre 9R66 (223,000 baht each).
Grand Seiko Masterpiece Collection (SBGZ007)
The latest novelty introduced today on 23 June is the SBGZ007: a limited edition of 50 pieces in platinum. Inspired by the starry sky above the village of Achi in Shinshu region, the watch features a star-speckled, deep blue dial whose unique production process involves stamping, plating and painting. That surreality is complemented by the intricate engraving pattern on the Zaratsu polished platinum case which measures 38.5 mm in diameter and 9.8 mm in thickness. A product of Grand Seiko’s Micro Artist Studio, the SBGZ007 is powered by the hand-winding Spring Drive Calibre 9R02 with 84 hours of power reserve. (2,703,200 baht)
