Christie’s เปิดเผยตัวเลขความร้อนแรงของตลาดการประมูลนาฬิกาช่วงต้นปีนี้

Christie’s Watches เริ่มปีใหม่อย่างสวยงามด้วยยอดขาย 106.5 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐในช่วงไตรมาสแรกของปีนี้ หรือเติบโต 13% เมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับไตรมาสเดียวกันของปี ค.ศ. 2021 รวมจำนวนนาฬิกาที่ขายได้ 1,214 เรือนและมีจำนวน 37 เรือนที่ทำราคานิวไฮที่เจนีวา นิวยอร์ค ดูไบและฮ่องกง ทั้งยังบอกอีกด้วยว่าผู้ซื้อกว่าหนึ่งในสามหรือ 32% เป็นคนรุ่นมิลเลนเนียล
เรมี กีเลอแมง หัวหน้าแผนกนาฬิกาของ Christie’s Geneva เปิดเผยว่า “ในงานประมูลชื่อ Rare Watches Geneva นั้นเราเห็นคนรุ่นมิลเลนเนียลนำมาก่อนเลยโดยนับเป็น 51% ของผู้ประมูลใหม่ทั้งหมด ความนิยมในนาฬิกา Rolex ยังคงพุ่งสูงขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่องทำให้มีการทำลายสถิติโลกมากถึง 16 รายการ ตลาดยังคงเปิดรับผู้ประมูลจากทั่วโลกซึ่งไม่เคยก้าวเข้ามาภายในห้องประมูลเพื่อซื้อนาฬิกาเลยสักเรือนและเราก็มีความยินดีเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่ได้เห็นพัฒนาการนี้ เมื่อคิดว่าในการประมูลของเรานั้นเราสามารถขายของออกได้หมดทั้ง 100% เราก็สามารถพูดได้ว่าทีมนาฬิกาของเราที่เจนีวายังคงยกระดับมาตรฐานขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่องจริงๆ ครับ”

Christie’s Watches reported significant growth in their total sales at USD 106.5 million for the first semester of this year, or a 13% increase over the same semester in 2021. A total of 1,214 lots were sold and 37 new world records were achieved in Geneva, New York, Dubai and Hong Kong. The auction house also noted that more than a third or 32% of their buyers include millennials.
Rémi Guillemin, Head of Watches, Christie’s Geneva, shared, “With Rare Watches Geneva, we saw millennials taking the lead, as they represented 51% of new bidders, while Rolex achieved new heights of desirability as 16 new world records were broken. The market continues to open up to bidders from around the world who have never before stepped into an auction room to buy watches, and we are very pleased to see that. With an auction that was 100% sold, the Christie’s watch team in Geneva continues to raise the bar!”
