The firm’s famous dive watches can be had in 48, 46, 44, 42 and 36 mm sizes.

Sports watches constitute a sizeable market so it is not a surprise to see consistently high competition in this area. Apart from the characteristic design, brands need to highlight the best properties of their products whether it is water resistance level, luminosity of the dial, the unidirectional rotating bezel and other properties as per the international standard for dive watches.
For this year, Breitling chooses to work on the Superocean which can be traced back to 1957. The refresh is centred around the inclusive size strategy so watch sizes are as diverse from 48 to 36 mm to correspond with the needs or preferences of gentlemen and ladies with an active lifestyle or a particular sartorial need. Powering these new Superocean watches is the COSC-certified chronometer Breitling Calibre 17 with a power reserve of 38 hours.
The Superocean Automatic 48 is the largest reference in this new line-up. Its oversized titanium case is given a black DLC treatment and a handsome blue ceramic bezel. A lock on the left side of the case prevents any inadvertent manipulation of the bezel. This 300-metre water resistant watch, complete with an inner case for protection against magnetic fields, is worn on a blue vented rubber strap designed for optimum tightness in the face of water pressure at great depths. Meanwhile, the Superocean Automatic 46 with conventional unidirectional rotating bezel is similarly guised in black by DLC but the case material is stainless steel instead. Dial colour choices are black and blue. Its Diver Pro III rubber strap is equipped with either a pin buckle or a folding clasp. This 46 mm model is the deepest-diving member of the family with an incredible rating of 2,000 metres.
For more regular sizes, step a bit down to the 1,000-metre rated Superocean Automatic 44 in stainless steel. The model is available with either a black or a blue dial, on a Diver Pro II rubber strap or a stainless steel bracelet. If you want your dive watch with more colours, go for the Superocean Automatic 42 whose dial choices black, white and orange. Its water resistance level is 500 metres.
The smallest option in the range is the Superocean Automatic 36, designed especially for women. The compact sports watch measures 36 mm and is water resistant to 200 metres. It comes with choices of a stainless steel bracelet, a blue rubber strap to match the light blue dial or a white rubber strap to match the white dial. The hour markers and the hands on these watches are coated with Super-LumiNova, same as the other sizes.
This level of diversity offered by the new Superocean collection should be satisfactory to anyone in the market for a new sports or diver’s watch. The first lots will arrive in Thailand as soon as June.

ความนิยมในนาฬิกาสปอร์ตโดยเฉพาะนาฬิกาดำน้ำนั้นถือว่ามีอยู่มาก ไม่แปลกที่การแข่งขันระหว่างแบรนด์ในนาฬิกาประเภทนี้จะสูงตามไปด้วย แต่ละแบรนด์ต้องนำเอาความโดดเด่นของผลิตภัณฑ์ตนมาใช้เป็นเครื่องมือทางการตลาดเพื่อแข่งขันกัน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นระดับความลึกของการกันน้ำ หน้าปัดเรืองแสงที่ส่องสว่างและอ่านเวลาได้ชัดเจน ขอบตัวเรือนหมุนทิศทางเดียว ฯลฯ ที่เป็นคุณสมบัติหลักของนาฬิกาดำน้ำตามมาตราฐานสากล ซึ่งก็มีความสวยงามและลงตัวตามสไตล์ของแต่ละแบรนด์

Superocean Automatic 48 คือรุ่นที่มีขนาดใหญ่ที่สุด นาฬิกาดำน้ำขนาดโอเวอร์ไซส์นี้มีตัวเรือนไทเทเนียมเคลือบดำด้วยกระบวนการดีแอลซี ขอบตัวเรือนเป็นเซรามิกสีน้ำเงินที่ให้ความเงางามและสะดุดทุกสายตา ทางด้านซ้ายของตัวเรือนมีล็อคนิรภัยเพื่อบังคับไม่ให้ขอบตัวเรือนนี้หมุนโดยไม่ตั้งใจ เสริมตัวเรือนชั้นในเพื่อปกป้องกลไกจากสนามแม่เหล็ก นาฬิการุ่นนี้กันน้ำลึกได้ 300 เมตร สวมใส่ด้วยสายยางสีน้ำเงินที่ออกแบบพิเศษเพื่อให้กระชับและมั่นใจขณะดำน้ำ สำหรับ Superocean Automatic ขนาด 46 มม. นั้นมาในมาดเข้มสีดำเช่นกัน แต่เป็นการเคลือบดำด้วยกระบวนการดีแอลซีบนตัวเรือนสเตนเลสสตีล มีสีหน้าปัดให้เลือกสองสีด้วยกันคือสีดำและสีน้ำเงิน มาคู่กับสายยางแบบไดเวอร์โปร 3 เข้ากันกับสีหน้าปัดพร้อมด้วยหัวเข็มขัดหรือบานพับล๊อค ขอบตัวเรือนเป็นแบบหมุนได้ทางเดียวซึ่งเป็นฟังก์ชั่นสำคัญสำหรับนักดำน้ำตัวจริง รุ่นขนาด 46 มม. นี้เป็นรุ่นที่กันน้ำได้ลึกที่สุดถึง 2,000 เมตร
ใครที่ต้องการนาฬิกาขนาดปกติกว่านั้นสามารถขยับลงมาลอง Superocean Automatic 44 ได้ ตัวเรือนสเตนเลสสตีลกันน้ำ 1,000 เมตร มีหน้าปัดสีดำและสีน้ำเงินให้เลือก และนอกจากสายยางแบบไดเวอร์โปร 2 แล้วก็มีสายสเตนเลสสตีลด้วย หรือหากใครที่ต้องการเพิ่มสีสันให้กับข้อมือก็ต้อง Superocean Automatic 42 เลยเพราะมีหน้าปัดสามสีด้วยกัน ได้แก่ สีดำ สีขาวและสีส้ม ระดับการกันน้ำอยู่ที่ 500 เมตร
นาฬิกาขนาดเล็กที่สุดในคอลเลคชั่น Superocean ใหม่คือ Superocean Automatic 36 ที่ออกแบบขึ้นสำหรับผู้หญิงโดยเฉพาะ เป็นนาฬิกาสปอร์ตที่มีความกะทัดรัดด้วยตัวเรือนสเตนเลสสตีลขนาด 36 มม. ซึ่งกันน้ำได้ลึก 200 เมตร สวมใส่ด้วยสายสเตนเลสสตีลหรือสายยางสีน้ำเงินเข้าคู่กับหน้าปัดสีฟ้า หรือสายยางสีขาวเข้าคู่กับหน้าปัดสีขาว หลักชั่วโมงและเข็มบอกเวลาเรืองแสงเคลือบด้วยสารเรืองแสงซูเปอร์ลูมิโนวาเหมือนกับขนาดอื่นๆ ทุกรุ่น
