In a stark white landscape, the sunlight announces itself and the end of winter… if you need a visual reference, then take a look at Sunlight Escape II, the latest collection from Piaget. Once you see it, you’ll understand. After all, this high jewlery collection—which follows the well received Sunlight Escape from last year—was inspired by that time of year when winter turns to spring. This time, the brand has divided their collection into three sub-chapters.
Warming Lights
The dazzling arctic sun is captured in the White Sun Cuff Watch, an 18-karat white gold watch. The mother-of-pearl dial is surrounded with with white kite-cut diamonds and brilliant-cut diamonds as well as hand-engraved white gold ‘Palace Décor’ ‘sticks’. It’s matched with a beautiful satin band. In addition, a pair of White Sun Earrings were created to match the set.
Exalting Sights
Inspired by the symmetrical composition of snowflakes, the Frosted Star Manchette is made of 18-karat white gold is emblazoned with a beautiful 5.12 carat Madagascar Sapphire surrounded by eight square black opals. Another beautiful piece features white opals, white south sea pearls and diamonds in an elegant necklace.
Dancing Nights
What can be more charming than the Aurora Borealis in darkness? This natural phenomenon is reflected through the Night Illusion Necklace, an asymmetrical pendant made from a 10.76 carat Colombian emerald amongst dancing marquise-cut emeralds, marquise-cut Paraiba tourmalines and emerald crystals. The set is completed by the Night Illusion Earrings, Ring, and Ear Cuff. Notably, there is a special Green Aurora Manchette, a pink gold bracelet that uses the marquetry techniques of Rose Saneuil.
