Chopard เลือกนำนิทรรศการ Meet our Artisans มาจัดที่ไทยเป็นประเทศแรกในโลก

หลายๆ ครั้งที่เห็นผลงานสร้างสรรค์นาฬิกาหรูหรือชิ้นงานอันวิจิตรของเครื่องประดับไฮจิลเวลรี่แล้วมักจะตั้งคำถามกับตัวเองว่าคนที่อยู่เบื้องหลังผลงานเหล่านี้เขามีขั้นตอนในการประดิษฐ์หรือต้องใช้ทักษะอย่างไรทุ่มเทมากเพียงใดถึงออกมาเป็นงานศิลป์ที่สร้างความรื่นรมย์ให้แก่ผู้ที่ได้ชื่นชมหรือเป็นเจ้าของ
ถือเป็นโอกาสอันดีที่ Chopard แบรนด์นาฬิกาและจิลเวลรี่ชั้นสูงนำทีมช่างศิลป์ผู้มีความเชี่ยวชาญในแขนงต่างๆ ของแบรนด์มาจัดแสดงนิทรรศการชื่อว่า “Meet our Artisans” ซึ่ง Chopard นั้นถือเป็นหนึ่งแบรนด์ที่อนุรักษ์วิถีและเทคนิคของงานช่างศิลป์ประดิษฐ์นาฬิกาชั้นสูงและงานช่างประดับตกแต่งอัญมณีแบบดั้งเดิมไว้ โดยไม่เพียงมีการฝึกช่างรุ่นใหม่อยู่เสมอแต่ยังเปิดโอกาสให้สถาบันการศึกษาในประเทศสวิตเซอร์แลนด์ส่งนักศึกษามาฝึกงานได้อีกด้วย
ในขณะเดียวกัน Chopard ก็คิดค้นวิวัฒนาการใหม่ๆ มาปรับใช้ให้เกิดเป็นสุดยอดของเรือนเวลาและไฮจิลเวลรี่ชั้นนำอีกด้วย ซึ่งภายในนิทรรศการ Meet our Artisans นี้เราจะได้พบกับช่างศิลป์แห่งประติมากรรมระบบกลไก ช่างศิลป์แห่งการประดับอัญมณี ช่างศิลป์แห่งกลไกสลับซับซ้อน ช่างศิลป์ขึ้นรูปเครื่องประดับ และช่างศิลป์ร่างแบบ เรียกได้ว่าเกือบครบทุกกระบวนการผลิตของโรงงานเลยก็ว่าได้
การจัดงานครั้งนี้เป็นความร่วมมือระหว่าง Chopard และ บริษัท S.T. Diamond Design ผู้แทนจำหน่ายผลิตภัณฑ์ Chopard ในประเทศไทย โดยจะจัดขึ้นที่บริเวณ Hall of Fame ศูนย์การค้าสยามพารากอน ระหว่างวันที่ 1- 7 พฤศจิกายน ศกนี้ เวลา 11.00 น. – 21.00 น. Luxuo จึงอยากเชิญชวนให้ผู้อ่านที่สนใจงานด้านนี้มาชื่นชมกระบวนการที่หาชมได้ยากและพูดคุยกับช่างแต่ละท่านซึ่งพร้อมตอบคำถามอย่างเป็นกันเอง โดยผู้จัดงานได้เตรียมล่ามภาษาต่างๆ ไว้พร้อมให้ตรงกับภาษาที่ช่างพูดซึ่งช่วยให้เราเข้าใจถึงจิตวิญญาณและทุกรายละเอียดเบื้องหลังการประดิษฐ์เครื่องประดับและนาฬิกาชั้นสูงเหล่านี้ได้เป็นอย่างดี

There are times when one looks at a piece of high jewellery or a watch and wonders how such fantastic creations came to be. One may even try to visualise the faces and the hands that translate skills and devotion into tangible products that customers will treasure for life.
Chopard is aware of such curiosity. That is why they have developed a travelling exhibition titled “Meet our Artisans” and Thailand is fortunate to have been chosen as the first country in the world to showcase it. For this week-long event, Chopard has brought a small team of master craftsmen and craftswomen who are experts in their respective fields such as gouache painting, 3D model sculpture and gemsetting for jewellery items, as well as movement decoration and assembly for watches.
The Genevan firm is a protector of heritage in that they try to perpetuate these age-old crafts through in-house training programs for trainees and also students from associated Swiss institutions. At the same time, Chopard embraces the future by never ceasing to innovate, bringing to life one after another technique to realise exciting novelties.
This “Meet our Artisans” exhibition is a collaboration between Chopard and S.T. Diamond Design in their capacity as an authorised retailer of Chopard in Thailand. It takes the entire space of Hall of Fame at Siam Paragon from now until 7 November. Do visit the venue between 11:00 and 21:00 to appreciate very closely as the master artisans go about their work. The team from Geneva is also ready for a chat with visitors, and will try their best to answer any question you may have about their work and the steps necessary towards the creation of fine jewellery and watches. Full-time interpreters are on-site to facilitate any exchange as the hosts are aware that not every visitor speaks French.
