ทำลายสถิติกันไปตั้งแต่วันที่ 30 พฤศจิกายนที่ผ่านมาแต่เพิ่งจะมาเป็นข่าวดังไปทั่วโลกเมื่อไม่นานมานี้กับสถิติแหวนที่มีเพชรประดับจำนวนมากที่สุดในโลกวงนี้โดย Renani Jewels แห่งเมืองมีรัท ประเทศอินเดียกับผลงานที่มีชื่อว่า The Marigold
The Marigold เป็นแหวนที่ประดับเพชรจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 12,638 เม็ด ทั้งหมดมีความสะอาดระดับ VVS และมีสีอยู่ในเกณฑ์ E และ F นับกะรัตได้ 38.08 กะรัตและแหวนมีน้ำหนักทั้งสิ้น 165.45 กรัม นี่เป็นผลงานในฝันของฮาร์ชิท บันซาลผู้เป็นกรรมการผู้จัดการของบริษัทแห่งนี้ โดยโปรเจคดังกล่าวใช้เวลาทั้งหมดราว 3 ปีนับตั้งแต่ที่เริ่มออกแบบจนเกิดเป็นผลสำเร็จ
เหตุที่เลือกชื่อ The Marigold นี้ก็เพราะว่าดอกดาวเรืองเป็นดอกไม้มงคลในวัฒนธรรมอินเดียซึ่งเชื่อกันว่าจะนำความรุ่งเรืองและโชคลาภมาสู่ชีวิต กลีบดอกไม้แต่ละกลีบได้รับการออกแบบให้มีรูปทรงไม่เหมือนกันจึงดูเป็นธรรมชาติ

Despite the certification date of 30 November 2020, news of the world record for “most diamonds set in one ring” broke internationally only recently. Renani Jewels of Meerut, India, snatched that title with a gigantic creation dubbed The Marigold.
Weighing 165.45 grams, the ring is adorned with 12,638 diamonds of E and F colours and VVS clarity, totalling 38.08 carats. The Marigold is a dream project of the company’s managing director Harshit Bansal. This name was chosen because, in the Indian culture, the flower brings prosperity and luck in life. Each petal is uniquely shaped so none of them is the same, giving this ring a kind of organic symmetry.
The whole process from concept development to final execution took him approximately three years. Interestingly, the jeweller web site specifically notes that “the ring is human wearable and the design is very comfortable”. Pricing information is not available though.
