East and West meet in this spectacular collaboration between Bvlgari and Ashi Studio.

The latest Spring 2019 Haute Couture collection from Ashi Studio was romantically titled ‘Letters from Margaret’. But this wasn’t the only highlight of the show. For the first time ever, a Lebanese couture brand was to collaborate with Rome jewellery house, Bvlgari, and the results were spectacular.
Letters from Margaret reflects the elegance of the 1950s, supplemented with design details from the 1990s. The 1950s was an important period for Bvlgari, as it was the first time the jewellery brand introduced coloured gemstones in a playful cabochon cut. For this particular runway collection, pieces from Bvlgari’s High Jewellery and Heritage collections were chosen. While it may seem such dazzling jewels would compete with Ashi Studio’s dresses, quite the opposite was true. The delicate and detailed dresses, along with bold gemstones complemented one another perfectly.

Letters from Margaret สะท้อนถึงความหรูหราและงดงามของยุคทศวรรษที่ ’50s เสริมด้วยรายละเอียดทางด้านการออกแบบจากยุคทศวรรษที่ ’90s ยุคทศวรรษที่ ’50s นั้นเป็นช่วงเวลาที่สำคัญคือบุลการี เพราะเป็นช่วงที่แบรนด์รังสรรค์รูปแบบของจิวเวลรี่ขึ้นมาใหม่โดยเน้นอัญมณีสีสันสดใสที่เจียระไนแบบคาโบชง ซึ่งบนรันเวย์ของอาชิ สตูดิโอในคราวนี้ ผลงานจิวเวลรี่ระดับมาสเตอร์พีชของคอลเลกชั่น High Jewelry และ Heritage ได้รับการคัดเลือกมาประชันกับชุดกูตูร์ของอาชิ สตูดิโอแบบจัดเต็ม แต่จริงๆแล้วจะว่า “ประชัน” กันก็ไม่เชิง เพราะเมื่อมาอยู่คู่กันแล้ว ทั้งจิวเวลรี่และชุดกูตูร์ที่ดูสง่างามกลับช่วยเสริมกันอย่างลงตัว
