Max Mara สร้างสรรค์คอลเลคชั่นรีสอร์ทเพื่อเป็นเกียรติแก่กรุงเบอร์ลินในวาระครบรอบ 30 ปีเหตุการณ์สำคัญทางประวัติศาสตร์

ปี 2019 ถือเป็นปีสำคัญของมนุษยชาติอีกปีหนึ่งเนื่องจากครบรอบ 30 ปีเหตุการณ์สำคัญทางประวัติศาสตร์อย่างการทลายกำแพงเบอร์ลิน แบรนด์แฟชั่นอย่าง Max Mara จึงสร้างสรรค์คอลเลคชั่นรีสอร์ทเพื่อเป็นเกียรติแก่การถือกำเนิดขึ้นใหม่อีกครั้งของเมืองสำคัญแห่งนี้ที่เป็นทั้งศูนย์กลางของศิลปะ สถาปัตยกรรม และงานออกแบบ โดยจัดแฟชั่นโชว์ขึ้นในสถานที่สุดเอ็กซ์คลูซีฟอย่างพิพิธภัณฑ์นอยเอส กรุงเบอร์ลิน ประเทศเยอรมนี ซึ่งไม่เคยมีการใช้จัดแฟชั่นโชว์มาก่อน
Max Mara ได้รับเกียรติให้เป็นแบรนด์แรกที่เปิดรันเวย์ที่นี่ โดยเลือกใช้ส่วน โถงบันไดของมิวเซียมเป็นบริเวณให้เหล่านางแบบเดินลงมาเพื่อนำเสนอผลงานสร้างสรรค์ กำแพงอิฐและบันไดตรงยาวสีขาวบ่งบอกถึงความไม่หวือหวาแต่มีเส้นสายที่ดูชัดเจนและแข็งแรง เชื่อมโยงกับสไตล์เสื้อผ้าของ Max Mara ที่มักจะอิงกับรูปแบบของงานสถาปัตยกรรมอยู่แล้ว ทั้งยังมาพร้อมเรื่องราวทางประวัติศาสตร์ควบคู่ไปกับความมุ่งมั่นที่จะนำเสนอสไตล์โมเดิร์นแบบเรียบง่าย
เสื้อผ้าส่วนใหญ่คุมโทนสีขาว สีเบจ และสีน้ำตาลเข้ม ได้แรงบันดาลใจมาจากงานศิลปะโดย ชินด์เลอร์, โกรเปียส, แวนเดอร์โร รวมถึงศิลปินยุคใหม่อย่างฟอสเตอร์, ปีอาโน, เกห์รี, ลีบสกินด์ และชิปเปอร์ฟิลด์ ชิ้นที่น่าสนใจได้แก่ Berlin Coat เสื้อโค้ตสีขาวบริสุทธิ์ซึ่งได้รับการออกแบบมาเพื่อแสดงความเคารพต่อเมืองเบอร์ลิน มาพร้อมการตัดเย็บที่ประณีต โดยมีช่วงไหล่ตั้งตรงปักด้วยดอกไม้อันเป็นการรำลึกถึงแบรนด์เครื่องเคลือบ Meissen ซึ่งถือเป็นตัวอย่างชั้นเยี่ยมของงานฝีมือสไตล์เยอรมัน ทุกรายละเอียดเสื้อโค้ตชุดนี้เหมือนหลอมรวมไว้ทั้งงานออกแบบ ประวัติศาสตร์ และอารมณ์ความรู้สึก
ต่อด้วย Berlin Gold Hat ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในชิ้นงานที่ได้แรงบันดาลใจมาจากวัตถุโบราณล้ำค่าระดับโลกภายในพิพิธภัณฑ์นอยเอสทั้งจากยุคก่อนและหลังประวัติศาสตร์ และวัตถุสไตล์โมเดิร์นที่ซ่อนรายละเอียดอันซับซ้อน โดยดีไซเนอร์เครื่องประดับ รีมา พาชาชี เป็นผู้ตีความและสร้างสรรค์เป็นคอลเลคชั่นเครื่องประดับอย่างกำไล สร้อยคอ และต่างหู ด้วยการนำเอาแสงสะท้อนอันแวววาวของเครื่องเงิน มาถักทอลงบนเนื้อผ้าแคชเมียร์และผ้าวูลอันสมบูรณ์แบบในเฉดสีแซนดี้
นอกจากนี้ก็ยังมีบุคคลสำคัญที่เคยอาศัยและสร้างสรรค์ผลงานชิ้นสำคัญที่เกี่ยวพันกับเมืองเบอร์ลินอย่างนักแสดงสาวมาร์ลีน ดีทริช และนักร้องนักแต่งเพลงระดับตำนาน เดวิด โบวี่ ผู้ซึ่งเป็นที่จดจำในภาพลักษณ์การแต่งตัวสุดครีเอทีฟอยู่เสมอ ทั้งคู่ชอบใส่สูทไหล่กว้าง กางเกงขายาวทรงกว้าง และเสื้อเทรนช์โค้ตที่มาพร้อมสายเข็มขัดรัด แน่นอนว่าสามชิ้นสุดคลาสสิกนี้ก็ปรากฏอยู่ในคอลเลคชั่นของ Max Mara ด้วย โดยเสริมความเป็นนีโอพริมิทีฟและตกแต่งด้วยขอบระบาย ชวนให้กลับไปนึกถึงคอลเลคชั่นชิ้นงานในมิวเซียมอีกครั้ง
Max Mara presents a resort collection to honour the 30th anniversary of Berlin’s rebirth.

The year 2019 is an important one for human history, as it marked the 30th anniversary of the historic fall of the Berlin Wall. To celebrate this event, fashion brand Max Mara has created a resort collection in honour of the great city’s renaissance as a centre for art, architecture and design. The collection debuted at Berlin’s Neues Museum, becoming the first fashion show to be held at the historic building.
Using the museum’s grand stairway area as a runway, the models walked past white brick walls and iconic straight steps. The clear and strong lines of the building are linked to the style of Max Mara’s clothing, which has always been associated with architecture. The brand is also known for taking inspiration from history coupled with a commitment to presenting clothing in simple modern silhouettes.
The resort collection centred around white, beige and dark brown tones is inspired by artists such as Schindler, Gropius, Van Der Rohe as well as modern artists like Foster, Piano, Gehry, Libeskind and Chipperfield. One of the most interesting pieces is Max Mara’s Berlin Coat, a pure white piece designed as a homage to the city of Berlin. With an emphasis on the shoulders, embroidered with white flowers, the coat is also a nod to porcelain creator Meissen, one of the many examples of great German craftsmanship. Every detail on this piece is a fusion of design, history and emotions.
The Neues Museum is also home to a world-famous historic artefact that led to the collection’s Berlin Gold Hat. Accessories designer Reema Pachachi took inspiration from this object as well as many prehistoric and contemporary pieces rife with complex details. To interpret these items, the designer has created bracelets, necklaces and earrings using reflective metalwork. The shine of the metal is also embroidered in the sandy shades of the cashmere and wool fabrics of the collection.
Aside from this, two important artists who have contributed to Berlin’s creative history, Marlene Dietrich and David Bowie – both fashion icons in their own right – are also celebrated. The artists are known for their tight suits with wide padded shoulders, wide pants and trench coats with belts. Of course, these classic details also appear in the Max Mara collection, along with neo-primitive and decorative edges that once again reflect the museum’s extensive collections.
