แรงบันดาลใจจากหนังสือ The Little Dictionary of Fashion ที่มิสเตอร์ ดิออร์ เคยเขียนไว้ในอดีตวันวาน ถูกครีเอทีฟไดเร็คเตอร์ มาเรีย กราเซีย คิอูรี หยิบมาปัดฝุ่นอีกครั้ง พร้อมตีความลายตารางซึ่งถือได้ว่าเป็นหนึ่งในมรดกงานออกแบบที่ดีไซเนอร์คนดังระดับตำนานชื่นชอบมาแต่แรกเริ่ม กลายเป็นพาเหรดลุคสาวโบฮีเมียน เปี่ยมพลัง ที่พร้อมแปรเปลี่ยนเป็นความหรูหราบนเนื้อผ้าเดนิมที่คงทนและมีเสน่ห์ไม่เคยเสื่อมคลาย
Celine
“À MA MÈRE” คือ คอลเลคชั่นประจำฤดูใบไม้ร่วงและฤดูหนาว 2020 ที่เอดี สลิมาน ครีเอทีฟไดเร็กเตอร์ของ Celine อุทิศให้แด่แม่ของเขา ทั้งยังนำเอารูปแบบงานออกแบบของแบรนด์จากยุคทศวรรษที่ 1960 กลับมาใช้เป็นแรงบันดาลใจในการสร้างสรรค์คอลเลคชั่นนี้ โดยใช้สัดส่วนใหม่และใช้ความโดดเด่นของผ้ากำมะหยี่เป็นหัวใจหลักในการสร้างสรรค์ รวมถึงการนำเสนอเสื้อผ้าของผู้หญิงและผู้ชายพร้อมกัน โดยเฉพาะเสื้อผ้าผู้ชายซึ่งนำเสนอรูปแบบงานนิวโรแมนติกผ่านเสื้อเชิ้ตผ้าไหม ชีฟอง หรือผ้าลายฟูลาร์ดมีระบายรอบคอเสื้อจับคู่กับกางเกงทรงซูเปอร์สกินนี่ เป็นต้น

Givenchy
ในคอลเลคชั่นฤดูหนาว 2020 นี้ แคลร์ เวท เคลเลอร์ ผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายศิลป์นำเสนอภาพลักษณ์ผู้หญิงในสไตล์ Givenchy ที่ทรงอำนาจ แต่ทว่าเปี่ยมเสน่ห์ชวนค้นหา มาถ่ายทอด ผ่านงานออกแบบเปี่ยมเอกลักษณ์ โดยหยิบยกเอาเสน่ห์ของนักแสดงสาวบนจอเงินชาวฝรั่งเศสในยุครุ่งเรืองรวมถึงศิลปะการแสดงออกด้วยท่าทางและเรือนร่างของผู้หญิงมาสื่อถึงพลังที่เปี่ยมอำนาจผ่านซิลูเอทที่เน้นไหล่ตั้งผึ่งผาย แต่กรอบของชุดจะเพรียวยาว มีการตกแต่งด้วยการจับจีบ อัดพลีตต่างๆ เพิ่มวอลลุ่มให้ดูงามสง่า เข้ากับลายกราฟิกในโทนสีขาวดำ สีแดงเชอรีและน้ำเงินโคบอลท์ พร้อมปักประดับประดาด้วยเลื่อม ลูกปัดและขนนกที่แสดงให้เห็นถึงงานฝีมือชั้นสูง

Dior
Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri dusted off the book The Little Dictionary of Fashion written by Mr. Christian Dior for inspiration in her latest collection. Using a checked pattern – which is generally regarded as a heritage look for the house of Dior, and one of the legendary designer’s favourites – the runway show featured a parade of powerful bohemian girls. The luxurious checked pattern is further translated with durable and charming denim.
Celine
Titled “À MA MÈRE”, the Fall/Winter 2020 collection by Celine’s Creative Director Hedi Slimane is dedicated to her mother. Silmane was also inspired by the 1960s, bringing back some of the brand’s key pieces from that era. Using new proportions and velvet fabric, the show included both men and women’s clothing. The men’s looks were particularly eye catching, as they embodied the new romantic style. Silk, chiffon and full-flare shirts with ruffles around the neck were matched with super skinny trousers.
Hermès
Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski the creative director of Hermès takes a cue from the Maison’s leather design history. At the heart of the 2020 Winter Collection are the colours of the 2020 Olympic Games adding vibrancy to the white leather looks. With interesting leather detailing in surprising spots like the collar, lapels or pockets, every piece seems to stand out – just as an Hermès woman should.
Thom Browne
This season, Thom Browne put on an extraordinary show where pairs of models were transformed into the fierce animals on Noah’s Ark. Each duo proudly presented the distinctive Thom Browne preppy uniforms for Fall and Winter 2020. The collection emphasised tailor-made looks like custom suits, padded outerwear and uniform-style pleated skirts. Every look comes with a leather bag shaped like an animal, the perfect collectable for a Thom Browne fan.
Givenchy
For Fall Winter 2020, Artistic Director Clare Waight Keller presents a powerfully feminine yet very Givenchy collection. The pieces are strong yet charming, and inspired by silver screen actresses, the heyday of France, expressionist art and the feminine form. These ideals are portrayed through bold silhouettes that focus on shoulders, while pieces maintain a slim frame. Pleats and folds add volume and elegance that match with the graphic prints of black, white, cherry red and cobalt blue. These are completed with embroidery of sequins, beads and feathers that reveal the house’s exquisite craftsmanship.
