There is something quite endearing and contemporary with Fendi Casa furniture products. The air of freshness is strong when you look at them, even more so when you have multiple pieces together. Fendi Casa was established in 1988 through a partnership between designer Anna Fendi herself and Alberto Vignatelli of Luxury Living Group – a company specialised in the development, production and distribution of high-quality furniture for some of the world’s most important brands.
As one of the first fashion houses to have entered the high-end furniture sector, Fendi Casa has done well to offer a slice of luxury Italian living to discerning homes around the world. Since then, the appeal has broadened to cover the needs of yacht and private jet owners, as the products themselves are elegant, cosmopolitan and definitely chic. After all, the Fendi brand, founded in 1925, knows how to stay in touch with the times.
Fendi was responsible for making fur fashionable as a status symbol. Subsequently, as social mentality gravitated away from fur, the company with Double F logo had the vision to woo customers by experimenting with colours and finishes. They eventually expanded from leather goods into ready-to-wear in 1977, and, furniture in 1988 as stated above. Here, the design DNA of the house is combined with furniture manufacturing expertise of Luxury Living Group in such a way that the rich tradition of Italian design can truly unfold.
The Constellation Effe coffee table is one of Fendi Casa’s iconic pieces. Produced in two diameter sizes of 60 and 120 centimetres, the transparent top sits on top of a 2-part structure of a Fendi “F” logo and a semi-circular section. To follow the circular shape of the table, check out the Constellation Ottoman whose cylindrical metal structure envelopes a velvet seat in forest green, citron, pistachio, dark orange or brown chocolate. The colourways are as contemporary as they are sophisticated indeed.
If you are looking for something larger to recline on or binge watch a show, the Benson sofa may do the job. Sized for three people, the sofa measures 244 x 104 x 89 centimetres and comes in a variety of fabric and leather colours to match your room. Lastly, in addition to the above, Fendi Casa offers lighting solutions as well. The Rhea & Janus line, for example, has everything from suspensions to floor and table lamps. The unifying design of this line is the curved glass elements and a gun-metal-finish steel upper cap, lending the space a sensual and playful visual touch.
