The collection is an exciting exercise in metamorphosis. We are drawn first to the Serpenti Laser-Cut bag because of its hypnotic motif. This radial pattern, which alludes to Rome’s ever-present radiance, is achieved with the help of high-precision laser technology. The geometric perforation begins on the outside and becomes smaller and smaller until it is so tiny near the snakehead; the enamelled scales come in the same Ivory Opal or Caramel Topaz colour as the calf leather used to craft this bag.
