Porsche เปิดตัวรถคอนเซปท์ Vision 357 Speedster เพื่อฉลอง 75 ปีของการผลิตรถสปอร์ต

Porsche เปิดตัวรถคอนเซปท์ไปคันหนึ่งเมื่อเดือนมกราคมในชื่อว่า Vision 357 และในเดือนนี้ก็มีเวอร์ชั่นเปิดประทุนตามต่อเนื่องมาในชื่อ Vision 357 Roadster โดยที่รถคอนเซปท์ทั้งสองคันนี้เป็นการฉลองครบรอบ 75 ปีของการผลิตรถสปอร์ตโดย Porsche นับตั้งแต่ Porsche 356 เมื่อปี ค.ศ. 1948

Porsche Vision 357 Roadster ซึ่งขับเคลื่อนด้วยระบบไฟฟ้าล้วนคันนี้ออกแบบบนพื้นฐานของ 718 GT4 e-Performance ซึ่งใช้แชสซีส์ของ 718 GT4 Clubsport และมอเตอร์ไฟฟ้ากับเทคโนโลยีแบตเตอรีของรถรุ่น Mission R ตัวรถมีฝาครอบทรงตอนโนทางด้านขวาเหมือนรถสปอร์ตเปิดประทุนบางรุ่นในสมัยก่อน ตัวถังเป็นแบบสองสี สีหลักคือสีมาร์เบิลเกรย์ ประกอบด้วยสีรองคือสีกรีเวโลเกรย์เมทัลลิกที่ใช้บริเวณปีกด้านหน้าซึ่งมีความเสี่ยงจะถูกหินบินใส่มากกว่า เช่นเดียวกันกับล้อแมกนีเซียมขนาด 20 นิ้วคู่หน้า ส่วนคู่หลังนั้นเป็นสีมาร์เบิลเกรย์เหมือนกับตัวถังบริเวณใกล้กัน รถรุ่นนี้ไม่มีกระจกมองข้าง แต่ว่ามีกล้องรูปทรงเหมือนปีกติดตั้งอยู่หน้าประตูแทน ไฟหน้าและไฟท้ายมีลักษณะเป็นแผงหลังลายฉลุบนตัวถัง

Porsche Vision 357 Roadster เปิดตัวเป็นครั้งแรกที่เทศกาล Goodwood Festival of Speed ครั้งที่ 30 ที่ประเทศอังกฤษ โดยมีรถอื่นที่นำมาจัดแสดงควบคู่ ได้แก่ 356 Roadster รุ่นดั้งเดิม รถ Porsche รุ่นใหม่และรุ่นคลาสสิกอีกกว่า 15 รุ่น และรถ Porsche ที่เคยชนะการแข่งขัน Le Mans จำนวน 6 คัน หลังจากงานนี้รถ Porsche Vision 357 Roadster คันต้นแบบนี้จะไปปรากฏตัวครั้งต่อไปที่งาน Porsche Rennsport Reunion ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกาช่วงปลายเดือนกันยายน พร้อมกับผลงานรุ่นใหม่รุ่นอื่นของ Porsche อย่างแน่นอน

The open-top concept car celebrates 75 years of Porsche sports cars.

Having launched the closed Porsche Vision 357 in January, Porsche now follows up with the Vision 357 Roadster. Both concept cars are intended to mark the 75th anniversary of Porsche’s sports cars production which began with the Porsche 356 in 1948.
“The Porsche Vision 357 is a nod to the first Porsche model line, Ferry Porsche’s dream sports car. And since the 356 has burned itself into the collective brand memory as both a convertible and a coupé, the same logic applies to the concept car: there can only be two,” says Michael Mauer, Vice President Style Porsche. “The Porsche Vision 357 Speedster embodies the essence of the brand. Driving pleasure and driving dynamics combined with an extremely purist form. As with the Mission X that we presented just a few weeks ago, this model demonstrates that even with fresh design genes, the Porsche DNA shines through.”
In terms of design, the all-electric Vision 357 Roadster is based on the 718 GT4 e-Performance, with the chassis from the 718 GT4 Clubsport and the electric motors and battery technology from the Mission R. The concept car is immediately distinctive for having a tonneau cover on the right side like some open-top sports cars in the past. It is presented in the two-color concept of mostly Marble Grey, but with the use of Grivelo Grey Metallic on the front wings area which are more exposed to flying rocks. The 20-inch magnesium front and rear wheels are thoughtfully painted in different colors to match the shade of grey nearest to them. Exterior mirrors are replaced by cameras in the aerodynamic wings just ahead of the doors. Meanwhile, front and rear lights are designed as a patterned arrays of points which are milled into the car’s body.
Stepping inside, the interior of the Vision 357 Roadster offers a low-slung seat position with the carbon fiber-reinforced plastic seat shell integrated in the monocoque, Racetex-covered pads for the driver to sit on, and six-point seat belt with a Miami Blue belt strap to hold him firmly in place. The instrument cluster is in the form of a transparent panel atop the steering column, and the racing steering wheel is designed to exemplify lightness. A carbon-weave finish covers the entire dashboard, reinforcing the futuristic vibe of the concept vehicle.
Porsche Vision 357 Roadster made its world premiere at the 30th Goodwood Festival of Speed in England, in the company of an original 356 Roadster, more than 15 new and classic models, and six Le Mans winning Porsche cars. After this, the Porsche Vision 357 Roadster design study will be on display at the Porsche Rennsport Reunion event in the United States of America, at the end of September, where more new models will be revealed.
