ณ เวลาที่ Porsche เปิดตัวรถ Taycan Cross Turismo ใหม่เมื่อช่วงต้นเดือนที่ผ่านมา มีอยู่คุณสมบัติหนึ่งที่ทำให้หลายคนรู้สึกประหลาดใจ นั่นก็คือชุดเคลื่อนย้ายจักรยานแบบติดตั้งท้ายรถซึ่งสามารถแบกรับจักรยานได้พร้อมกัน 2 คัน ด้วยความที่ Taycan เป็นรถยนต์พลังงานไฟฟ้าระดับแฟล็กชิปของ Porsche อยู่แล้ว จึงถือเป็นความเหมาะสมอย่างยิ่งที่ Porsche จะได้เปิดตัวอีไบค์ 2 รุ่นนี้มาเสริมรับ และเพื่อตอกย้ำความมุ่งมั่นในการมุ่งใช้พลังงานไฟฟ้าในยานยนต์ของตนมากรุ่นยิ่งขึ้นภายในปี ค.ศ. 2025 ด้วย
จักรยานทั้ง 2 รุ่นนี้ออกแบบร่วมกับบริษัทผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านอีไบค์ชื่อ Rotwild และผลิตที่เมืองดีเบิร์ก รัฐเฮสเซน ประเทศเยอรมนี ทั้งคู่ใช้เฟรมคาร์บอนแบบฟุลซัสเปนชั่นซึ่งได้รับแรงบันดาลใจมาจากตัว Taycan เอง แบตเตอรี่เป็นแบบถอดออกได้และมีกำลัง 504 วัตต์-ชั่วโมง ขับเคลื่อนด้วยมอเตอร์ Shimano EP8 ในรุ่น eBike Cross ใช้ดิส์เบรคไฮดรอลิก Magura-MT Trail เพื่อช่วยให้ลดความเร็วได้อย่างทันท่วงที ระบบเกียร์เป็น Shimano XT แบบ 12 สปีดเพื่อการเปลี่ยนเกียร์อย่างรวดเร็ว หลักอานเป็น Crankbrothers Highline เพื่อความสบายสูงสุดและเพื่อการปรับตั้งโดยสะดวกให้ตรงตามความชอบของผู้ขับขี่ ควบคุมง่ายแม้บนเส้นทางที่สมบุกสมบันด้วยแฮนด์ที่ออกแบบถูกต้องตามหลักสรีระศาสตร์
อีกรุ่นหนึ่งมีชื่อว่า eBike Sport เพื่อการใช้งานในชีวิตประจำวันบนถนนและเส้นทางที่ราบเรียบกว่านั้น มอเตอร์ Shimano EP8 ที่ใช้สามารถให้ความเร็วได้สูงสุด 25 กม./ชม. เพราะเป็นความเร็วสูงสุดของอีไบค์ตามข้อบังคับของสหภาพยุโรป สำหรับ Porsche eBike Sport รุ่นที่ใช้ในเมืองนี้จะมาพร้อมกับไฟล์แอลอีดี M99 ของ Supernova ที่ติดตั้งอยู่ในสเต็มและหลักอาน

The two new eBikes, the Porsche eBike Cross and eBike Sport, are meant to complement the off-road version of its flagship electric vehicle.

When Porsche unveiled its new 2021 Taycan Cross Turismo earlier this month, one feature that turned heads was the addition of a new rear carrier, capable of carrying up to two bicycles. Given that the Taycan is their flagship EV, pairing it with two new electronic modes of transport shows the brand’s commitment to become electrified by 2025.
Designed in collaboration with electric bicycle expert Rotwild, and built in Dieburg, Hesse, Germany, both eBikes will feature a full-suspension carbon frame, inspired by the Taycan, a removable 504 Wh battery, and a Shimano EP8 motor. Apart from these, the eBike Cross sports Magura-MT Trail hydraulic disc brakes to help with quick deceleration, and the Shimano XT 12-fold shifting system allows for fast gear changes. To achieve optimal comfort, the Crankbrothers Highline seat post is able to be adjusted quickly to different points according to the user’s preference. Paired with the ergonomic handlebars, the eBike Cross is easy to control even when going across rough ground.
In comparison to the Cross, the eBike Sport is meant for use as a daily mode of transportation on smoother roads and paths. The Shimano EP8 motor gives the user up to 25 km/h of speed: the legal top speed for eBikes under European Union regulations. Porsche eBike Sport is perfect for the daily commute within an urban populace. Adding on to this design choice is the use of M99 LED lights, developed by Supernova, set into the handlebar stem and seat post.
These eBikes will cost a little more than conventional offerings already on the market. The Cross will set you back USD 8,549 while the Sport will cost buyers around USD 10,700. The two models are now available online from Porsche’s website.
