Koenigsegg เปิดตัวอย่างเป็นทางการในประเทศไทยด้วยรถตัวแรง Jesko Absolut

ความฝันที่จะสร้างสรรค์สปอร์ตคาร์ที่ดีที่สุดของโลกเป็นแรงผลักดันให้คริสเตียน วอน เคอนิกเซกก์ ตัดสินใจเปิดบริษัท Koenigsegg เมื่อปี ค.ศ. 1994 ตลอดระยะเวลากว่าสองทศวรรษ บริษัทสัญชาติสวีเดนแห่งนี้ได้สร้างความตื่นตาตื่นใจต่างๆ ในโลกยานยนต์ เช่น รถรุ่น CCR ที่ได้รับการรับรองให้เป็นรถที่มีแรงขับมากที่สุดเมื่อปี ค.ศ. 2004 และในปีนี้ Koenigsegg ก็ยังคงนำเสนอความยอดเยี่ยมใหม่ๆ ผ่านการเปิดตัวรถรุ่น Jesko Absolut
Jesko Absolut พัฒนาต่อจากรถรุ่น Jesko ที่เผยโฉมเมื่อปีก่อน การต่อยอดที่สำคัญที่สุดของ Jesko Absolut คือ ประสิทธิภาพในการลดแรงเสียดทานอากาศโดยรอบ นักวิจัยและวิศวกรของ Koenigsegg ได้ทุ่มเทเวลารวมราว 8,000 ชั่วโมง จนทำให้รถรุ่นนี้มีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์แรงต้านอากาศเพียง 0.278 เท่านั้น อีกหนึ่งรายละเอียดที่แตกต่างจาก Jesko อย่างมีนัยสำคัญก็คือสปอยเลอร์ท้ายรถขนาดใหญ่ที่ถูกออกไปเพื่อลดแรงกดจาก 1,400 กิโลกรัมให้เหลือเพียง 150 กิโลกรัม แล้วเพิ่มเติมครีบคู่ที่ด้านหลังเพื่อเพิ่มความเสถียรยามเมื่อใช้ความเร็วสูง ซึ่งครีบคู่นี้ก็ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจมาจากหางของเครื่องบินรบ F-15 นั่นเอง
ในเรื่องเครื่องยนต์นั้น Koenigsegg เลือกใช้เครื่องยนต์เทอร์โบคู่ V8 ขนาด 5 ลิตรในรถรุ่น Jesko Absolut เครื่องยนต์รุ่นนี้สามารถให้กำลังสูงสุด 1,600 แรงม้าเมื่อเติมเชื้อเพลิงชนิด E85 แรงบิดสูงสุดคือ 1,500 นาโนเมตรที่ 5,100 รอบต่อนาที เกียร์อัตโนมัติแบบ 9 สปีดของ Jesko Absolut ไม่เพียงเปลี่ยนขึ้นลงได้อย่างรวดเร็วดุจความเร็วแสงสมกับชื่อ Light Speed Transmission หรือ LST เท่านั้น แต่ยังสามารถเปลี่ยนเกียร์แบบกระโดดข้ามไปมาได้โดยไม่ต้องเรียงลำดับเกียร์แต่อย่างใด
Koenigsegg ประกาศว่า Jesko Absolut เป็นรถที่เร็วที่สุดเท่าที่บริษัทเคยสร้างมาโดยไม่มีการระบุตัวเลขอย่างแน่ชัดในเอกสารประกอบการขายรถ จะมีก็เพียงคำกล่าวในการให้สัมภาษณ์ของคุณวอน เคอนิกเซกก์ที่บอกว่ารถคันนี้สามารถทำความเร็วได้ถึง 532 กิโลเมตรต่อชั่วโมงในทางทฤษฎี แต่ทั้งนี้ก็ต้องดูปัจจัยเรื่องถนน ยางและความสามารถของคนขับประกอบด้วยเพราะเรื่องความปลอดภัยย่อมเป็นเรื่องสำคัญที่สุด สำหรับเรื่องราคาขายในประเทศไทยนั้นเบื้องต้นแจ้งไว้ที่ประมาณ 350 ล้านบาท หากสั่งวันนี้ก็จะได้รับรถในปี ค.ศ. 2024 โดยประมาณ

Christian von Koenigsegg has a dream which led to the founding of Koenigsegg Automotive in 1994 in order to build the best sports cars in the world. The Swedish company has spent the 26 years that followed thrilling the automotive segment with one marvel after another, including the CCR which was recognised as the World’s Most Powerful Production Car in 2004. For 2020, their headline-grabbing product is the Jesko Absolut.
Developed on the basis of the original Jesko of last year, the Jesko Absolut is designed specifically to reduce drag. Koenigsegg’s researchers and engineers spent as many as 8,000 hours to achieve a drag coefficient value of only 0.278 Cd. One highly noticeable difference from the Jesko is the absence of the oversized rear spoiler, reducing downforce from 1,400 kilograms to only 150 kilograms. Replacing that are the two fins, inspired by the vertical stabilisers of the F-15 fighter jet, serve to increase the car’s stability at high speed.
The 5.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine used in the Jesko Absolut is capable of delivering 1,600 horsepower if E85 fuel is used. Its maximum torque is 1,500 Nm at 5,100 RPM. The car’s 9-speed automatic gearbox changes gears in a flash like the name LST or Light Speed Transmission suggests. Equally impressive is the fact that the LST changes from one gear to the one that is needed without having to cycle through the gears sequentially.
Koenigsegg clearly states that the Jesko Absolut is the fastest car they have ever built. Nevertheless, an exact figure was not indicated in the sales materials. What we managed to glean so far is from an interview with von Koenigsegg where he suggested that the Jesko Absolut can theoretically achieve a top speed of 532 kilometres per hour. This all depends on road conditions, the tires used and the skills of the driver as safety is always paramount. This Swedish hypercar carries a Thai retail price of approximately 350 million baht. An order made today will be fulfilled by 2024.
