ปอร์โตฟิโนเป็นเมืองประมงซึ่งตั้งอยู่ในแนวชายฝั่งอิตาเลียนริเวียราทางตอนเหนือของประเทศอิตาลี ด้วยความงดงามทางสถาปัตยกรรม แนวเขาสีเขียวที่ทอดยาว และสีน้ำเงินสดใสของทะเลลิกูเรียน ปอร์โตฟิโนจึงมีบรรยากาศอันน่าหลงใหล และกลายเป็นเมืองตากอากาศที่มีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะแห่งหนึ่งของโลก
ในปี ค.ศ. 2017 Ferrari ได้นำชื่อปอร์โตฟิโนมาใช้เรียกรถจีทีรุ่นใหม่ ณ ขณะนั้นอย่าง Ferrari Portofino ซึ่งมีการออกแบบที่เปี่ยมเสน่ห์และสมรรถนะที่ได้รับการยอมรับอย่างกว้างขวาง ในปีนี้ แม้วิกฤตการณ์ของโควิด-19 จะทำให้การดำเนินงานของบริษัทจากมาราเนลโลแห่งนี้ชะงักไปบ้าง แต่ตอนนี้ Ferrari พร้อมแล้วที่จะออกเดินทางอีกครั้งผ่าน Ferrari Portofino M ซึ่งเป็นรถสปอร์ตที่ได้รับการพัฒนาจาก Portofino รุ่นดั้งเดิม
จุดเด่นด้านเทคนิคที่ได้รับการปรับปรุงของ Portofino M ได้แก่ เครื่องยนต์ขนาด 3,855 ซีซี ขุมพลัง V8 เทอร์โบ 620 แรงม้า ซึ่งนับว่าเพิ่มขึ้นจากรุ่นก่อนหน้าถึง 20 แรงม้า ต่อมาคือ การใช้เกียร์ 8 จังหวะเป็นครั้งแรกในรถเปิดประทุนของ Ferrari และที่สำคัญที่สุดคือ ระบบ Manettino แบบ 5 ตำแหน่งพร้อมโหมด Race ที่เข้ามาเพิ่มอรรถรสในการขับขี่ ส่วนด้านรูปลักษณ์ของรถนั้น Portofino M มีขนาดที่กะทัดรัดคล่องตัว ถ่ายทอดภาพลักษณ์สปอร์ตทว่าแฝงความพลิ้วไหวยิ่งขึ้นจากด้านหน้าของรถและกันชนที่ได้รับการออกแบบใหม่ นอกจากนี้ ยังติดตั้งหลังคาแข็งแบบพับเก็บได้ (RHT) ซึ่งทำให้รถรุ่นนี้เป็นได้ทั้งรถคูเป้และรถสไปเดอร์ เพียงแค่ปิดหรือเปิดหลังคา
ด้วยคุณสมบัติที่กล่าวมา ทำให้ Ferrari Portofino M เป็นรถจีทีที่สามารถใช้งานได้ในทุกโอกาส ไม่เพียงแต่มีความคล่องแคล่วและประสิทธิภาพในการขับขี่เท่านั้น แต่เสน่ห์ของรถรุ่นนี้ยังดึงดูดให้ผู้คนออกไปเดินทางเพื่อค้นพบบางสิ่งอย่างอีกครั้ง

Portofino is a fishing town located in the Italian Riviera to the north of the country. Thanks to its beauties from architecture, range of green hills and Ligurian Sea, the overall atmosphere of Portofino is so charming that it has become one of the unique seaside resorts in the world.
In 2017, Ferrari named its new GT model at the time, Ferrari Portofino, after this town. The car was delicately designed and had a widely accepted performance. This year, despite the pandemic which interrupted briefly their operation, the Maranello-based firm now resumes the voyage in the motor world with an all-new Ferrari Portofino M, directly modified from the original Portofino.
There are three major technical improvements of the Portofino M. Firstly, it uses the 3,855 cc V8 turbo engine capable of unleashing 620 CV or 20 CV more than the original Portofino. Secondly, Portofino M is equipped with a redesigned eight-speed gearbox – a first in on an open-top Ferrari. Lastly, and most importantly, the car introduces the five-position Manettino, along with a Race mode, to maximise driving pleasure.
Style-wise, the Portofino M is a highly practical GT with sportive and flowing look, thanks to the redesign of the car’s front and bumpers. In addition, the Retractable Hard Top (RHT) is installed so that it can transform between being a coupé and or a spider car by closing or opening the top, making the Ferrari Portofino M appropriate for every occasion and use. It is indeed a chance to rediscover the world en plein air.
