ข่าวล่าว่ายอดนักเตะ คริสเตียโน โรนัลโด ถอยรถใหม่ Bugatti La Voiture Noire ราคา 12 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐซึ่งเป็นรถที่แพงที่สุดในโลกและเพิ่งจะเปิดตัวไปที่งาน Geneva Motor Show เมื่อปีที่แล้ว สำนักข่าวที่นำเสนอข่าวได้แก่ Sky Sport ของอิตาลี MARCA ของสเปนและ Daily Mail ของอังกฤษ แต่เมื่อ TMZ ไปเช็คเรื่องนี้กับตัวแทนของโรนัลโดกลับได้คำตอบว่าไม่จริง สุดท้ายจึงมี Gulf News ที่ออกมายืนยันว่าโรนัลโดนั้นซื้อ Bugatti มาคันหนึ่งจริง เพียงแค่ว่าไม่ใช่รุ่นที่เป็นข่าวแต่แรก หากแต่เป็นรุ่น Centodieci ซึ่งก็ยังมีราคาสูงลิ่ว 8.9 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐอยู่ดี
นักออกแบบอุตสาหกรรมชาวอิตาเลียน เอตโตเร บูกัตติ เป็นผู้ก่อตั้งแบรนด์รถ Bugatti เมื่อปี ค.ศ. 1909 รถขึ้นชื่อระดับสะสมของแบรนด์นี้มีมากมาย ได้แก่ Type 35 Grand Prix, Type 41 Royale, Type 57 Atlantic และ Type 55 สำนักงานใหญ่ตั้งอยู่ที่เมืองมอลไซม์ในแคว้นอัลซาซของประเทศฝรั่งเศส แต่แล้วบริษัทก็ประสบปัญหาทางด้านการเงินหลังจากที่เอตโตเรเสียชีวิต แล้วหลังจากนั้นลูกชายของเขาก็ยังจากโลกนี้ตามไปอีก รถรุ่นสุดท้ายที่บริษัท Bugatti ผลิตในยุคนั้นออกมาในทศวรรษที่ 1950 จากนั้น ในปี ค.ศ. 1963 จึงมีผู้ซื้อธุรกิจชิ้นส่วนเครื่องบินของบริษัทนี้ขึ้นมา และในยุคทศวรรษที่ 1990 จึงมีนายทุนมาปลุกชีพแบรนด์อีกครั้งในฐานะผู้ผลิตรถสปอร์ตระดับสุดยอดแห่งความเอ็กซ์คลูสีฟ
ทางด้านดาวยิงของยูเวนตุสนั้นมีค่าตัวกับสโมสรปีละ 35 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ (ไม่รวมรายได้จากการเป็นพรีเซ็นเตอร์ให้กับสินค้าต่างๆ อีกมากมาย) ข้อมูลของ Forbes ระบุว่าโรนัลโดนั้นมีรายได้รวม 109 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐในปี ค.ศ. 2019 ทำให้เขาเป็นนักกีฬาที่มีรายได้สูงเป็นอันดับสองของโลก โรนัลโดมีรถระดับหรูมากมาย ไม่ว่าจะเป็น Mercedes C Class Sport Coupe (ซึ่งเป็นของขวัญจากคุณแฟน), Rolls-Royce Phantom, Ferrari 599 GTO, Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, Aston Martin DB9, McLaren MP4 12C และ Bentley Continental GTC Speed

Cristiano Ronaldo, the famed international soccer superstar, was rumoured to be the new owner of La Voiture Noire – the USD 12 million Bugatti launched as the world’s most expensive car at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show.
This was reported earlier by Italy’s Sky Sport, Spain’s MARCA, and United Kingdom’s Daily Mail; but when TMZ approached his agent, they categorically denied the claim. Instead, Gulf News has confirmed that Ronaldo did buy a Bugatti. It was not La Voiture Noire, it was one of ten limited edition Bugatti Centodieci, which still costs a cool USD 8.9 million.
Founded in 1909 by Italian-born industrial designer Ettore Bugatti, the premium car marque famed for its legacy of highly collectible Type 35 Grand Prix cars, the Type 41 Royale, the Type 57 Atlantic and the Type 55 classic sports-cars, is headquartered in Molsheim, Alsace, France. The company struggled financially after the death of the elder Bugatti and the later passing of his son, releasing one last model in the 1950s. It was eventually purchased for its airplane parts business in 1963 and then revived in the 1990s by an entrepreneur as a builder of limited production exclusive sports cars.
The Juventus player is currently on a USD 35 million per year contract (and not counting his other lucrative endorsement deals). According to Forbes, Ronaldo had an income of USD 109 million in 2019, making him the world’s second highest paid athlete in the world. He is well known for his supercar collection which includes a Mercedes C Class Sport Coupe (a gift from his girlfriend), a Rolls-Royce Phantom, a Ferrari 599 GTO, a Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, an Aston Martin DB9, a McLaren MP4 12C and a Bentley Continental GTC Speed.
Ronaldo is currently spending the coronavirus pandemic holed up in his beautiful seaside mansion in Madeira, after teammate Daniele Rugani tested positive for coronavirus in March. His girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez posted a picture of their living conditions on Instagram earlier.
