เมื่อศิลปินแนวสตรีทชาวอเมริกัน สกายเลอร์ เกรย์ เลือกแต่งรถ Aventador S ด้วยลวดลายสีส้ม เหลืองและขาว

ปกติจะหายนตกรรมอะไรที่ดูเตะตากว่า Lamborghini ก็ยากอยู่แล้ว แต่ Aventador S คันนี้จะทำให้ทุกคนต้องหันมามองแน่นอนด้วยลวดลายสีส้ม เหลืองและขาวสุดเจ็บ ผลงานพิเศษแบบหนึ่งเดียวในโลกคันนี้ถูกนำมาจัดแสดงภายในงาน Monterey Car Week 2019 ที่สนามกอล์ฟเพบเบิลบีช เมืองมอนเทอเรย์ รัฐแคลิฟอร์เนียช่วงสุดสัปดาห์นี้
Lamborghini ไม่ได้เลือกศิลปินโนเนมมาร่วมงานด้วย คนที่เขาเลือกมาในครั้งนี้มีชื่อว่าสกายเลอร์ เกรย์ เขาเป็นศิลปินชาวอเมริกันรุ่นเยาว์อายุเพียง 19 ปี แต่มีผลงานเกินวัยไปมากถึงขนาดที่มีผลงานไปจัดแสดงอยู่ในพิพิธภัณฑ์แล้วเลย และเมื่อปี 2017 ก็ติดโผ “30 under 30” ของ Forbes ซึ่งเป็นการจัดอันดับศิลปินผู้ทรงอิทธิพลของโลกด้วย ดังนั้นเขาผู้นี้จึงเป็นดาวรุ่งที่น่าจับตาของวงการสตรีทอาร์ทของโลกอย่างแท้จริง
คาเทีย บาสซี ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่ฝ่ายการตลาดและการสื่อสารของ Automobili Lamborghini กล่าวว่า “เรามีความรู้สึกชื่นชอบโลกศิลปะอยู่แล้วจึงอยากทดลองทำอะไรที่เป็นการสร้างสรรค์ การมอบหมายให้สกายเลอร์ เกรย์ได้ตีความรถของเราในครั้งนี้ก็ถือว่าเป็นงานศิลป์ในตัวอยู่แล้วด้วย โปรเจคนี้เป็นงานของเพนท์ช็อปแห่งใหม่ของเราที่ซานตากาตาโบโลนเยเซซึ่งเป็นสถานที่ที่เทคโนโลยีและศิลปะเวียนมาบรรจบกัน และเป็นที่ที่ผู้เชี่ยวชาญของเราทำหน้าที่เปลี่ยนฝันของลูกค้าให้กลายเป็นความจริง”
Aventador S คันนี้มาพร้อมกับสีส้มอารันชิโอแอตลาส จากนั้นสกายเลอร์จึงแต่งเติมลวดลายสีเหลือง สีส้มเข้มและสีขาวโดยใช้อุปกรณ์แนวสตรีทอาร์ท ได้แก่ แอร์บรัช สเปรย์กัน โรลเลอร์และสเตนซิล ปิดท้ายด้วยรูปกระทิงในแบบฉบับการวาดของเขาเพื่อให้สอดคล้องกับเครื่องหมายการค้าของ Lamborghini กระบวนการสร้างสรรค์ในครั้งนี้ใช้เวลานานเกือบปี เฉพาะเวลาที่ใช้ในการทำสีอย่างเดียวก็สามสัปดาห์แล้ว
หากใครอยากเป็นเจ้าของ Aventador S คันนี้ เราก็ต้องบอกว่าเสียใจด้วยเพราะว่ามีนักสะสมงานศิลป์คนหนึ่งซื้อไปแล้วเป็นที่เรียบร้อย

American street artist Skyler Grey works his magic on an Aventador S.

What’s more head-turning than a Lamborghini? That’s easy: a Lamborghini with a splash of orange, yellow and white! This Aventador S is shown during the Monterey Car Week 2019 at Pebble Beach Golf Course in Monterey, California this weekend.
Lamborghini did not just pick any artist to work with. Skyler Grey is considered the rising star in the world of street art. At the tender age of 19, the American is reportedly the youngest artist to have his work exhibited in a museum. He was recognised already in 2017 by Forbes as one of the most influential artists worldwide as a part of their “30 under 30” list.
Katia Bassi, Chief Marketing and Communication Officer of Automobili Lamborghini, explained, “Because of the affinity we feel with the world of art, we wanted to experiment with a new creative approach, entrusting Skyler Grey with the interpretation of a car that is already itself a work of art. It is a project connected with our new paint shop in Sant’Agata Bolognese, a place where technology
and art meet and where our specialists are tasked with turning our customers’
dreams into reality.”
This Aventador S came with a base colour of Arancio Atlas orange. With that as the canvas, Skyler personalised the body with yellow, dark orange and white, using street art tools like airbrushes, spray guns, rollers and stencils. Stylised images of bulls complete the Lamborghini trademark. The creative process lasted nearly a year, including three weeks of work in the paint shop.
This particular one-off automobile was already purchased by an art collector.
