ชื่อโรงแรมเกิดจากแนวคิดที่ว่า กรุงเทพมหานครของเรานั้นได้รับการขนานนามว่าเป็น City of Angels หรือ มหานครแห่งเทพเทวดานางฟ้า ดังนั้น Villa Deva Resort and Hotel ก็เปรียบเสมือนบ้านของเทพเทวดานั่นเอง ซึ่งบ้านของเทวดาแห่งนี้นั้นตั้งอยู่บนพื้นที่ 5 ไร่ โดยตัวอาคารของโรงแรมเป็นอาคารโลว์ไรส์เพียงสองชั้นที่ทุกห้องพักถูกออกแบบให้หันหน้าสู่พื้นที่โล่งหรือสระว่ายน้ำที่อยู่ใจกลางโรงแรมเพื่อมอบประสบการณ์การพักผ่อนที่เหมือนอยู่ในรีสอร์ทในบรรยากาศที่สุขสงบและร่มรื่นทั้งๆ ที่ตั้งทำเลอยู่ใจกลางเมือง
การตกแต่งของอาคารและโรงแรมออกแบบสะท้อนมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมและจิตวิญญาณของความเป็นอยู่อย่างไทยได้อย่างน่าสนใจ โดยเลือกใช้วัสดุธรรมชาติอย่างไม้มาเป็นองค์ประกอบ และนำเอามนต์เสน่ห์ของความเป็นไทยในหลายๆ ด้านมาเพิ่มลูกเล่นให้กับตัวอาคารและห้องพัก เช่น แผงบังตาบริเวณระเบียงที่เป็นไม้ฉลุลวดลายปลาตะเพียนซึ่งได้แรงบันดาลใจมาจากโมบายปลาตะเพียนสานใบลานของไทย ผนังลายจักสานบริเวณล็อบบี้ ประตูไม้สู่ระเบียงหรือสระว่ายน้ำที่ออกแบบกลอนประตูให้เหมือนบ้านไทยสมัยโบราณ หรือ การออกแบบให้ห้องพักชั้นล่างทุกห้องมีทางลงสระว่ายน้ำในลักษณะคล้ายกับท่าน้ำของบ้านริมคลองริมแม่น้ำสมัยก่อนซึ่งแสดงให้เห็นถึงวิถีชีวิตไทยในอดีตที่ผูกพันอยู่กับสายน้ำ เป็นต้น
ห้องพักของที่นี่มีด้วยกันทั้งหมดสี่ประเภท ได้แก่ Deluxe Pool View ขนาด 40 ตารางเมตร Deluxe Pool Access ขนาด 48 ตารางเมตร Executive Suite Pool View ขนาด 64 ตารางเมตร และ Executive Suite Pool Access ขนาด 76 ตารางเมตร นอกจากนี้ยังมี Deva Pool Villa ที่กว้างขวางขนาด 490 ตารางเมตร เพื่อการพักผ่อนอย่างเต็มอิ่มและความเป็นส่วนตัวสูงสุด โดยห้องพักทุกห้องถูกออกแบบให้มีเพดานสูงเพื่อให้ความรู้สึกโปร่งและผ่อนคลาย พรั่งพร้อมไปด้วยสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกและผลิตภัณฑ์ในห้องน้ำสุดหรู รวมถึงมินิบาร์ที่จัดเต็มซึ่งรวมอยู่ในค่าห้องแล้ว

Sathorn is one of the historical areas of Bangkok that today sees hustle and bustle as it is the CBD where people rush to do their business throughout the day. The name of the hotel comes from the idea that Bangkok is known as the City of Angels. As such, Villa Deva is essentially “the home of the angels” on a piece of land measuring about two acres. Its low-rise building features only two floors where every room is designed to face the open space or the swimming pool in the center of the hotel to provide an exceptional experience of relaxation. The tranquil atmosphere is as if you were staying in a countryside resort rather than in the heart of a busy metropolitan.
The overall design of Villa Deva reflects cultural heritage and the spirit of the Thai way through the use of natural materials such as wood, as well as room and building design components which provide a subtle hint to traditional Thai charms. The motif of wooden balcony blinds is that of palm-woven carp mobiles. The lobby wall decoration is created after a wicker pattern. The wooden door leading to the balcony or the pool has a latch in the same style as that found in old Thai houses back in the day. Also, the pool access of all ground level rooms recalls how Thai houses used to be right by a canal or a river, linking the way of life at the time to the waterways.
There are four types of rooms with different size such as 40-square-meter Deluxe Pool View, 48-square -meter Deluxe Pool Access, 64-square-meter Executive Suite Pool View, and 76-square-meter Executive Suite Pool Access. There is also a spacious 490-square-meter Deva Pool Villa for an ultimate relaxation and maximum privacy. All rooms are designed with high ceilings to give an unconfined feeling, and equipped with amenities and luxury toiletries. Mini bar items are already inclusive in room charge.
Villa Deva Resort and Hotel operates Thai restaurant VelaBhirom and Mayraya Bar where guests can enjoy Thai food and beverages amidst a beautiful garden and pool view.
