ปักหมุด Public House พาก้าวสู่พื้นที่แห่งความชิคที่มาในรูปแบบของโรงแรม สีสันแห่งเมืองที่พลาดไม่ได้

หากคุณลองเดินหรือขับรถเข้าไปในซอยสุขุมวิท 31 ย่านที่เต็มไปด้วยแหล่งไลฟ์สไตล์มากมาย เมื่อถึงสี่แยกแรกก็จะพบกับอาคารสีเขียวโดดเด่นที่มาพร้อมกับคาแรกเตอร์อันสะดุดตา อาคารนี้คือ โรงแรม Public House ที่นอกจากจะมาพร้อมกับห้องพักหลากหลายสไตล์รวมทั้งหมดกว่า 79 ห้องและสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกที่ครบครันต่อความต้องการของนักท่องเที่ยวและผู้เข้าพักแล้ว ที่นี่ยังเป็นมากกว่าโรงแรมด้วยพื้นที่อเนกประสงค์มากมายที่ถูกออกแบบและจัดการอย่างสร้างสรรค์ เป็นศูนย์กลางทางวัฒนธรรมรวมถึงจุดนัดพบของผู้คนที่หลากหลายเพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนความสร้างสรรค์กันอีกด้วย
เมื่อเดินผ่านบานประตูกระจกอัตโนมัติที่ถูกจัดวางแบบมีสไตล์บริเวณหน้าโรงแรม ก็จะพบกับการทักทายอย่างเป็นกันเองจากฟร้อนท์ล็อบบี้ กลิ่นความสดชื่นอันเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของโรงแรมนี้ที่ได้สัมผัสทำให้รู้สึกสบายตัวและทิ้งความวุ่นวายของสี่แยกไว้ด้านนอกประตู เมื่อมองไปทางด้านซ้ายมือจะเห็นว่าบริเวณชั้นล่างของโรงแรมนั้นถูกออกแบบมาให้เปิดโล่งแต่ถูกแบ่งสัดส่วนโซนต่างๆ อย่างชัดเจน ถัดจากบริเวณฟร้อนท์ล็อบบี้ไปเพียงไม่กี่ก้าวก็จะเป็นโซนที่ตั้งของ Fest. ซึ่งเป็นร้านอาหารออลเดย์ไดน์นิ่งสไตล์ย่างถ่าน นำเสนอเมนูอาหารมากกว่า 60 เมนู ออกแนวคอมฟอร์ตฟู้ดและมีกลิ่นอายความเป็นเมดิเตอร์เรเนียนอยู่หน่อยๆ
ถัดเข้ามาก็จะเป็นโซนของ Open Bar บาร์ค็อกเทลสไตล์วินเทจที่พร้อมให้บริการเครื่องดื่มพิเศษหลากหลายชนิด โดยจะเปิดให้บริการตั้งแต่ 9 โมงเช้ายัน 5 ทุ่มครึ่ง สายดื่มสายเที่ยวเรียกว่าอยู่ได้แบบจุใจ ข้างๆ กัน ก็จะเป็นส่วนของโซนที่เรียกว่า Forum เป็นโคเวิร์กกิ้งสเปซ ที่สามารถสั่งเครื่องดื่มจิบพร้อมนั่งทำงานในพื้นที่อเนกประสงค์ที่มีทั้งแบบเปิดโล่ง หรือหากใครชื่นชอบความเป็นส่วนตัว ภายในโซนนี้ก็ยังมีห้องไพรเวทสำหรับนั่งทำงานคนเดียวอีกด้วย จนรวมไปถึงห้อง Flexi Room ที่อยู่ใกล้ ๆ กัน เป็นห้องประชุมที่มีขนาดใหญ่ขึ้นมาสามารถจุได้หลายคนเลยทีเดียว สิ่งที่เราเซอร์ไพรส์ภายในโซนนี้คือการจัดดิสเพลย์โชว์กระเป๋า Freitag หลากหลายรุ่น และความประหลาดใจนี้ก็ทำให้เราได้มาทราบทีหลังว่าเจ้าของโรงแรมแห่งนี้ คุณพอล ซัคเดฟ เป็นผู้นำเข้ากระเป๋าแบรนด์ Freitag และ Superdry ในไทย จึงมีการจัดโชว์ดิสเพลย์และจัดจำหน่ายกระเป๋าให้สำหรับแขกทุกคนที่สนใจ ซึ่งแขกทุกคนที่เข้าพักยังสามารถยืมใช้กระเป๋า Freitag จากทางโรงแรมไปใช้ทำกิจกรรมต่างๆ ภายในเมืองและนำกลับมาคืนเมื่อใช้เสร็จได้อีกด้วย
ในส่วนของห้องพักซึ่งมีทั้งหมดกว่า 79 ห้อง แบ่งเป็น 8 รูปแบบ ได้แก่ Deluxe, Premier, Premier Corner King, Grand Premier, Premier Corner Terrace, Junior Suite, One-bedroom Suite และ Executive Suite ซึ่งแน่นอนว่าในทุกๆ ห้องถูกตกแต่งแบบร่วมสมัยอย่างมีสไตล์ มาพร้อมสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกที่ครบครัน พร้อมผ้าม่านทึบแสงที่อาจจะดูเป็นเรื่องเล็กน้อย แต่กลับเป็นสิ่งที่สำคัญต่อความเป็นส่วนตัวและความผ่อนคลายของแขกมากๆ
The Mooon ยังนับเป็นอีกหนึ่งไฮไลท์ของโรงแรมที่สายกินดื่มเที่ยวพลาดไม่ได้ เพราะที่นี่คือร้านอาหารไทยร่วมสมัยบนดาดฟ้าใจกลางกรุงที่ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจการตกแต่งจากยุค 80s และที่สำคัญยังเป็นร้านที่ตั้งอยู่ชั้นเดียวกับสระว่ายน้ำของโรงแรม ในช่วงกลางวันแขกจะสามารถนั่งเอนหลังบนเก้าอี้ข้างสระว่ายน้ำอาบแดดเมืองกรุงได้แบบสบายๆ แต่เมื่อถึงเวลาหลัง 17.00 น. แล้วนั้น แขกทุกคนก็สามารถดื่มด่ำไปกับบรรยากาศและทิวทัศน์อันมีชีวิตชีวาของกรุงเทพฯ พร้อมผ่อนคลายไปกับแสงไฟอ่อนๆ อาหารเลิศรส และเครื่องดื่มพิเศษหลากหลายเมนูที่ The Mooon พร้อมนำเสนอได้ด้วย

Chic hotel/co-working space deserves to be pinned as a must-visit destination.

Walking or driving through the lifestyle hub that is Soi Sukhumvit 31, you will find at the very first intersection a striking green building positively exuding character. This is the Public House, a hotel, culture hub and gathering place for creative-minded people, with 79 guest rooms, a full range of amenities, and creatively designed multipurpose spaces.
Entering through the stylish automatic sliding glass entrance door, visitors are amicably greeted by the front lobby staff. A refreshing whiff of scent, unique to the place, instantly makes you feel relaxed and ready to leave behind the hustle and bustle of the busy intersection just outside. Look to your left and you’ll find that the ground floor is open-planned, but with the various zones clearly demarcated. Just steps from the lobby is Fest, an all-day dining venue offering charcoal-grilled fare plus a Mediterranean-leaning selection of over 60 comfort food-style dishes.
Venture a bit further in and you’ll find the Open Bar, a vintage-style cocktail bar serving a wide variety of drinks. Open from 9 am to 11.30 pm, it’s a place cocktail lovers and partyers could settle in and stay a while – or as long as their hearts desire. Adjacent to the bar is the Forum, a multipurpose co-working space with open workspaces, single-occupancy pods, and a Flexi Room for group meetings.
What surprised us about this zone was the display of Freitag bags. Our surprise was later dispelled when we learned that the hotel’s owner, Paul Sachdev, is the authorized importer of Freitag and Superdry products in Thailand. Not only are the bags on display available for sale, but the hotel will also let staying guests borrow bags from its collection for their private use.
The hotel offers 79 guest rooms of 8 different types: Deluxe, Premier, Premier Corner King, Grand Premier, Premier Corner Terrace, Junior Suite, One-Bedroom Suite and Executive Suite. Every guest room is stylishly appointed in a contemporary style and equipped with a full range of amenities, including curtains of opaque fabric – a small detail that nevertheless reflects great consideration for guests’ privacy and ability to relax undisturbed.
Another of the Public House’s highlights is The Moon. A must-visit for bon vivants and party lovers, this rooftop contemporary Thai restaurant is inspired by an 80s-inspired décor. Being located on the same floor as the hotel swimming pool means that during the day diners can lounge on the poolside deck chairs if they so wish. After 5 pm, guests can drink in the beautiful views and pulsating atmosphere of the city while enjoying food and drinks from The Moon’s long and varied menu.
As mentioned earlier, this is a very comfy, conveniently located hotel in the heart of Bangkok. It’s also a creative space in its own right. The supercozy vibe puts you at ease the moment you set foot inside. The décor leans slightly mid-century but, thanks to a good use of color, furniture and an abundance of art, the place has an overall contemporary feel. And with this amount of art around – you are almost always within sight of some artwork as you take a stroll around the place – you’ll find it easy to get inspired.
Another special space at the Public House is the Podcast Room, which is accessible to creatives of all ages. And Fest, Open Bar, The Forum and The Moon are all open to both guests and non-guests.
