มิชลินประกาศรายชื่อโรงแรมที่พัก 58 แห่งที่คว้ารางวัล “กุญแจมิชลิน” จากการคัดสรรและจัดอันดับครั้งแรกในไทย

มิชลิน ผู้ผลิตชั้นนำระดับโลกที่มุ่งมั่นในการส่งมอบประสบการณ์ที่ดีที่สุด ครอบคลุมตั้งแต่การนำเสนอโซลูชั่นบนเครือข่ายเชื่อมต่อโดยใช้ฐานข้อมูลและเทคโนโลยี AI การเป็นตัวช่วยสำหรับธุรกิจเดินรถขนส่งระดับมืออาชีพ ไปจนถึงการแนะนำร้านอาหารและโรงแรมผ่านคู่มือ “มิชลิน ไกด์” โดยที่ผ่านมาก็ร้านอาหารในไทยได้รับรางวัล “ดาวมิชลิน” สำหรับประสบการณ์ด้านอาหารที่ดีที่สุดไปแล้วหลายร้าน และล่าสุดทางมิชลิน ไกด์ก็ได้ประกาศรายชื่อโรงแรมที่พักที่ได้รับรางวัล “กุญแจมิชลิน” ในประเทศไทยเป็นครั้งแรกให้กับโรงแรมที่ผ่านการคัดสรรตามเกณฑ์ของมิชลิน ไกด์ว่าสามารถมอบประสบการณ์การเข้าพักที่โดดเด่นที่สุด ถือเป็นบรรทัดฐานใหม่สำหรับนักเดินทางผู้คำนึงถึงประสบการณ์การเข้าพักโดยรวม ซึ่งครอบคลุมมากกว่าสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกที่โรงแรมที่พักแต่ละแห่งมีให้บริการ
หลักเกณฑ์การคัดสรรสำหรับรางวัลกุญแจมิชลินมีด้วยกัน 5 ประการ ได้แก่ 1. เป็นจุดหมายปลายทางในตัวเอง และมอบประสบการณ์ที่เชื่อมโยงกับท้องถิ่น 2. มีความเป็นเลิศด้านสถาปัตยกรรมและการออกแบบตกแต่งภายใน 3. คุณภาพและความสม่ำเสมอในการให้บริการ ความสะดวกสบาย และการบำรุงรักษาที่ดี 4. ราคาเหมาะสมกับคุณภาพและประสบการณ์ที่ได้รับ 5. สะท้อนบุคลิกภาพของสถานประกอบการที่มีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัวไม่เหมือนใคร โดยทีมผู้ตรวจสอบของ ‘มิชลิน ไกด์’ จะเข้าพักในสถานประกอบการโรงแรมที่พักต่างๆ มากกว่าหนึ่งครั้งโดยไม่เปิดเผยตัวตน ทั้งยังเป็นอิสระจากแบรนด์สินค้าหรือบริการ, การจัดอันดับดาวด้านการท่องเที่ยว และจำนวนรางวัลที่กำหนดไว้ล่วงหน้า และโรงแรมที่พักที่ผ่านเกณฑ์ดังกล่าวจะได้รับรางวัลกุญแจมิชลินที่แบ่งออกเป็น 3 ระดับ ได้แก่ รางวัลกุญแจมิชลิน 1 ดอก, กุญแจมิชลิน 2 ดอก และกุญแจมิชลิน 3 ดอก
สำหรับการคัดสรรปีแรกในประเทศไทย มีโรงแรมและที่พักได้รับรางวัลกุญแจมิชลินทั้งสิ้น 58 แห่ง แบ่งเป็นโรงแรมที่พักสุดพิเศษที่คว้ารางวัล “กุญแจมิชลิน 1 ดอก” 31 แห่ง อาทิ InterContinental Khao Yai Resort จังหวัดนครราชสีมา, Iniala Beach House จังหวัดพังงา, โรงแรม Sala Samui จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี, โรงแรม Raya Heritage จังหวัดเชียงใหม่, โรงแรม Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, โรงแรม The Standard Bangkok, โรงแรม 137 Pillars Suites Bangkok ต่อมาคือ โรงแรมที่พักซึ่งให้ประสบการณ์เหนือระดับ 19 แห่งที่คว้ารางวัล “กุญแจมิชลิน 2 ดอก” อาทิ โรงแรม Capella Bangkok, โรงแรม The Sukhothai Bangkok, โรงแรม The Okura Prestige Bangkok, โรงแรม Banyan Tree Samui จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี, โรงแรม Rosewood Phuket, โรงแรม Rachamankha และโรงแรม 137 Pillars House จังหวัดเชียงใหม่
และสำหรับโรงแรมที่แตกต่างไม่เหมือนใครและมอบประสบการณ์การเข้าพักเหนือชั้นอันน่าจดจำจนคว้ารางวัลสูงสุดอย่างรางวัล “กุญแจมิชลิน 3 ดอก” มาครองได้ มีทั้งหมด 8 แห่ง ตั้งอยู่ในกรุงเทพมหานคร, เชียงใหม่, ตราด, สุราษฎร์ธานี, กระบี่ และภูเก็ต ได้แก่ โรงแรม Mandarin Oriental Bangkok และโรงแรม The Siam จังหวัดกรุงเทพมหานคร, โรงแรม Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai จังหวัดเชียงใหม่, โรงแรม Soneva Kiri เกาะกูด จังหวัดตราด, Samujana Villas เกาะสมุย จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี, โรงแรม Phulay Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve จังหวัดกระบี่, โรงแรม Amanpuri และโรงแรม Keemala จังหวัดภูเก็ต

Michelin releases the inaugural list of “Michelin Key” properties in the kingdom.

Michelin is a global company committed to delivering the best experiences. It does this through, among other things, network solutions assisted by databases and AI technology, professional fleet management services, and the Michelin restaurant and hotel guide. Many restaurants in Thailand have been awarded Michelin stars in recognition of the exceptional dining experiences they provide. And recently, the Michelin Guide released a list of the first hotels in Thailand honored with the Michelin Key award, a seal of approval for outstanding stay experiences. Extending beyond the facilities that a hotel provides, the Michelin Key award represents an assessment of the overall stay experience.
To meet the Michelin Key selection criteria, a hotel must be a destination in itself, providing an experience in harmony with its surroundings; feature outstanding design and architecture, maintain quality and consistency of service and comfort; offer value for money; and possess a unique character. Evaluations by the Michelin team are made based on anonymous stays and independently from existing labels, tourism stars, and pre-established quotas. Hotels that fulfill all five criteria are awarded One, Two, or Three Michelin Keys.
The inaugural Michelin Key selection recognizes 58 hotels in Thailand. Thirty-one of these are awarded “Michelin One Key,” including InterContinental Khao Yai Resort, Nakhon Ratchasima; Iniala Beach House, Phang Nga; Sala Samui, Surat Thani; Raya Heritage, Chiang Mai; Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok; The Standard Bangkok; and 137 Pillars Suites Bangkok. Nineteen properties are named “Michelin Two Key” hotels for providing exceptional experiences, including Capella Bangkok, The Sukhothai Bangkok, The Okura Prestige Bangkok, Banyan Tree Samui, Rosewood Phuket, and Chiang Mai’s Rachamankha Hotel and 137 Pillars House.
The highest rating, “Three Michelin Keys” is awarded to 8 hotels to recognize the extraordinary stay experiences they offer. They are the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, The Siam, also located in Bangkok, Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai, Soneva Kiri on Koh Kood Island, Trat, Samujana Villas on Koh Samui, Surat Thani, Phulay Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Krabi, and Phuket’s Amanpuri and Keemala.
