In a piece of good news for the Thai hotel industry and hotel guests, Silavadee Pool Spa Resort on Koh Samui, Surat Thani, announced that it had received ISO 22000 certification. ISO 22000 is a very stringent and comprehensive standard for food safety management spanning sourcing, production, storage, and food service. Silavadee’s certification is therefore a welcome quality and safety boost for the Thai tourism industry as a whole.
Silavadee’s Chairman of the Executive Board Ms. Chollada Sunthornvasu said: “The ISO 22000 certification reflects our unwavering commitment to ensuring a safe and reliable experience for all our guests. We pay attention to every detail of our service, ensuring the highest level of satisfaction for our guests.”
The 80-room, five-star resort is located on the crescent-shaped Lamai Beach, known for its fine golden sand, bright blue sea, and fascinating rock formations. Lamai Beach is the second largest beach on Samui after Chaweng but is much more tranquil. Silavadee’s guests enjoy a rejuvenating rest close to nature and in complete privacy. Offering different types of accommodation, from Jacuzzi Deluxe to Pool Villa, the resort is equipped with a full range of amenities including infinity pool, Silavadee Spa, and several restaurants – The Height, Moon, Star rooftop bar – allowing guests to enjoy every comfort without having to leave the property.
