Galleries’ Night 2020 ครั้งที่ 7 พร้อมให้คุณได้ดื่มด่ำในศิลปะหลากหลายสไตล์แล้ว วันที่ 14-15 กุมภาพันธ์นี้

Galleries’ Night เป็นกิจกรรมที่สำคัญของแวดวงงานศิลป์ไทย ในปีนี้มีศิลปินเข้าร่วมมากถึง 250 ราย โดยจัดแสดงผลงานที่แกลเลอรี่ 70 แห่งจึงต้องแบ่งการจัดงานเป็นสองวัน คือ วันศุกร์ที่ 14 และวันเสาร์ที่ 15 กุมภาพันธ์
ฯพณฯ นายฌัก ลาปูฌ เอกอัครราชทูตฝรั่งเศสประจำประเทศไทย กล่าวว่า “อย่างที่ทุกท่านทราบกันดีว่างาน Galleries’ Night นั้นได้รับแรงบันดาลใจมาจาก La Nuit Blanche ค่ำคืนสีขาวแห่งปารีส ปัจจุบันอาจกล่าวได้ว่ากรุงเทพมหานครนับเป็นสถานที่ที่เหมาะกับกรจัดงานดังกล่าวอย่างยิ่งยวด และ Galleries’ Night ก็กลายมาเป็นหนึ่งในไฮไลท์ของงานเทศกาลทางวัฒนธรรมประจำปีด้วยความคาดหวังเป็นอย่างสูงที่จะทำให้งานศิลปะร่วมสมัยเป็นสิ่งที่ทุกคนสามารถเข้าถึงได้มากที่สุด ผ่านรูปแบบและเนื้อหาซึ่งงานนี้ได้นำเสนอ”
โดยในคืนแรกนั้นจะเป็นคืนของแกลเลอรี่ในย่านสีลม สาทรและริมแม่น้ำ แล้วในคืนที่สองจึงเป็นตาของแกลเลอรี่ย่านสุขุมวิทและปทุมวัน การเดินทางระหว่างแกลเลอรี่ใช้รถสามล้อจำนวน 80 คันที่ทางงานจ้างไว้โดยเฉพาะและมีป้าย Galleries’ Night เพื่อทำหน้าที่รับส่งโดยเฉพาะโดยไม่คิดค่าบริการ และทุกแกลเลอรี่ในรายการนี้ก็จะเปิดให้คุณได้เข้าชมฟรีเช่นกัน

The 7th edition of Galleries’ Night 2020 will take place during 14-15 February in Bangkok.

Galleries’ Night is known as an important event on Thailand’s art calendar. This year, the cultural gathering will involve the work of 250 artists at 70 galleries over the two nights of Friday 14 and Saturday 15 February.
“As you know, Nuit Blanche in Paris inspires the Galleries’ Night spirit. Today we can say that Bangkok has fully appropriated this event, which is part now of the cultural calendar of the year, with this noble ambition to make contemporary art accessible to the greatest number, through a singular event in its form as well as in its content,” shared His Excellency Jacques Lapouge, the French Ambassador to Thailand
The two nights will not be the same. On Friday 14 February, participants will tour the galleries in Silom, Sathorn and riverside areas. Other venues in Sukhumvit and Pathumwan areas will take over for the evening of Saturday 15 February. A number of tuktuks (three-wheeled taxis) with designated Galleries’ Night livery will help transport you from one gallery to the next. This shuttle service is free, as is the admissinon to every gallery in the program.
