The annual Skechers Sundown Festival returns for its eighth edition this weekend on August 4 at City Beach Resort, Labrador Park.
An annual music event dedicated to celebrating Asian music and culture, previous editions of Red Spade Entertainment’s Sundown Festival have seen artistes such as K-pop icons FT Island and S.H.E’s Hebe Tien.
This year’s edition, however, departs from its usual lineup of artistes from all around Asia, featuring solely local performers in the spirit and season of National Day. This year’s lineup includes established names such as Ling Kai, Derrick Hoh, Jack & Rai, alongside emerging artistes Farrago and pop-rock band The Summer State, which has opened for pop-punk acts Simple Plan, Yellowcard and Mayday Parade.
