นิทรรศการมัลติมีเดียที่จะทำให้คุณจะรู้จักวินเซนต์ แวน โก๊ะ มากขึ้น

ฟินเซนต์ ฟัน โคค หรือวินเซนต์ แวน โก๊ะ จิตรกรชาวดัตช์ที่มีชื่อเสียงมากที่สุดในประวัติศาสตร์ศิลปะตะวันตก ผลงานจิตรกรรมของเขายังติดอันดับชิ้นงานที่แพงที่สุดในงานประมูล แวน โก๊ะเป็นศิลปินที่ผู้คนมากมายต่างยกย่องนับถือในความสามารถ แต่เป็นเรื่องน่าเสียดายที่ระหว่างมีชีวิตอยู่ เขาไม่เคยได้สัมผัสและรับรู้ถึงความรู้สึกดังกล่าวเลยแม้แต่น้อย
แวน โก๊ะเติบโตมาในครอบครัวที่ค่อนข้างมีฐานะ เขาเป็นคนเงียบขรึม จริงจัง ชีวิตเต็มไปด้วยความทุกข์และเศร้าโศก หนำซ้ำยังมีสภาวะทางจิตใจที่ค่อนข้างแปรปรวน แต่ถึงกระนั้นมันกลับช่วยเติมเต็มผลงานแต่ละชิ้นของเขาให้สื่อความหมายได้อย่างลึกซึ้ง และเต็มไปด้วยอารมณ์ความรู้สึก ก่อนจะเสียชีวิตด้วยการปลิดชีพตัวเองขณะอายุเพียง 37 ปี เขาได้ฝากผลงานไว้ให้ผู้คนชื่นชมมากมาย ภายในช่วงเวลาเพียง 10 ปีของการเป็นจิตรกร เขารังสรรค์ผลงานจิตรกรรมรวมทั้งหมด 930 ชิ้น ภาพวาดและภาพสเก็ตช์อีก 1,100 ชิ้น
ปัจจุบันผลงานของแวน โก๊ะ ถูกเก็บรักษาไว้ในแกลเลอรีและคอลเลคชั่นส่วนตัวทั่วโลก ทั้งในประเทศเนเธอร์แลนด์ ฝรั่งเศส สหรัฐอเมริกา รัสเซีย และอื่นๆ อีกมากมาย คงไม่ใช่เรื่องง่ายหากเราจะตามไปดูผลงานของเขาให้ครบทั้งหมด แต่เทคโนโลยียุคนี้ช่วยให้เราเสพงานของเขาได้ ถ้าตอนนี้ใครอยากชมผลงานรวมทั้งสัมผัสเรื่องราวชีวิตของแวน โก๊ะ คุณไม่ควรพลาดนิทรรศการมัลติมีเดีย Van Gogh. Life and Art ซึ่งเคยจัดแสดงมาแล้วที่เบอร์ลิน มอสโคว์ เซนต์ปีเตอร์สเบิร์ก ภายในงานจะได้พบกับคลังภาพที่เรียกได้ว่าครบที่สุด ตั้งแต่ภาพสเก็ตช์จากถ่าน ไปจนถึงชิ้นงานระดับมาสเตอร์พีซตลอดจนจดหมายที่แวน โก๊ะ เขียนถึงธีโอ น้องชายที่เขารักและผูกพันมาก ซึ่งทำให้เรายิ่งเข้าใจชีวิตของศิลปินผู้อาภัพคนนี้ได้ลึกซึ้งมากขึ้นไปอีก
นิทรรศการ Van Gogh. Dutchman Vincent Van Gogh is the most celebrated painter in the history of western art. His works continue to make top dollars move at auctions today. It is a shame though that any public recognition is posthumous. He never experienced any of that during his lifetime.
Van Gogh grew up in a family that was quite well to do. He was austere, serious, and, bitter from his rather unstable emotional state. That, in turn, contributed to the emotional depth of his paintings, until his untimely death by suicide at the young age of 37. During his 10-year span as an artist, Van Gogh created 930 paintings and 1,100 drawings and sketches.
These works are kept at galleries and private collections around the world, including the Netherlands, France, United States of America and Russia. It is quite difficult indeed to view all of his work without the help of technology. Today, if you are so inclined, the multimedia exhibition “Van Gogh. Life and Art” lets you do that with ease. Having previously been staged in Berlin, Moscow and Saint Petersburg, this is the largest showcase of Van Gogh’s work from charcoal drawn sketches to the masterpieces. Also shown is the letter from the artist to his beloved brother Theo which gives us more insight into his luckless life.
