Following the success of his Eastpak Artist Studio edition, Jean Paul Gaultier is reteaming with the backpack brand for the Spring 2015 season.
Jean Paul Gaultier may have left ready-to-wear behind to focus on haute couture, but his designs will still be available to a broader clientele thanks to collaborations with fashion and accessories brands.
The latest example is his new partnership with Eastpak. Due out ahead of the Spring-Summer 2015 season, the result of the tie-up will be a collection of backpacks inspired by Jean Paul Gaultier’s most iconic pieces.
The first Eastpak X Jean Paul Gaultier line will go on sale in a very limited edition from February, followed by the main collection in April.
Part of the proceeds from the sale of these backpacks will go to the charity Designers Against Aids.
