Building a dream home is a challenging task. Every detail has to be flawlessly executed. Everyone in the team has to work closely together to achieve the owner’s vision of his home. Gy Saravut Sereethoranakul shows a grand tour of his 500+ million baht penthouse and great passion for Versace.
Saravut’s love for Versace is genuinely unprecedented. Since he was young, he collected Versace products and kept all the Versace tags he purchased in the glass cabinet. He mentioned that Versace is the very definition of his character and that he had a dream to build the most beautiful “Versace Home.”
Located at the top of an upscale condominium building in Thonglor area, Saravut’s unit on the 44th floor has a double volume with 7-meter-tall ceiling. The very first thing to be noticed upon exiting the elevator is the head of Medusa in the semi-outdoor terrace area. The marble flooring, the lamps and the chairs all have the are Medusa’s head decoration. The duplex unit is then separated into two wings.
He proudly presented the lofty dining room on the left, surrounded by a set of distinguished high patterned glass walls with a Medusa’s head in the middle. The massive dining table is about 7 meters long, and it can accommodate approximately 20 people. The timeless design chairs by Versace are also the highlights of the entire dining room. Together with the exquisite chandeliers, the room is glorious and fit for a state function.
Aside from his family business as one of Thailand’s largest starch sugar producers, the Managing Director of P.S.C. Starch Product also has a big passion for racing and is part of the Wattana Racing Spirit PSC MotorSport team. This is reflected through the achievements he put on display in his living room area with a lot of natural light coming in through the floor-to-ceiling glass. It is here that he spends most of his time during the day if he is home, sometimes having lunch at the Versace round table. Elsewhere in the living room, a grand piano sits near the entrance and contributes a soft and warm mood to the entire place.
Saravut’s penthouse was designed with social events in mind. It has all necessary amenities to keep esteemed guests pampered. A massive, climate-controlled wine cabinet sits in the middle of the living room and stores up to 500 precious bottles. The setup is very pleasing to look at as an exquisite piece of furniture. For smaller gatherings, there is also a secondary dining room in this wing which offers just the right setup for a casual meal of up to 10 family members or close friends.
